I was the first one there since I thought everyone would want to go there today. They have a pattern of going to the café and oak tree, they just don't realize it.

I sat down at he roots of the tree and watched the world go by. There was a strange guy who kept walking past me and looking at me.

At some point I was feed up and one time he walked past me I tripped him and hovered on top of him, making sure he couldn't escape. Even though we were on the sidewalk in the middle of peoples way, everybody ignored us and kept moving over or around us.

Tch. People.

I went inches away from his face and yelled, "What the hell do you want?!"

He smirked. He looked to be in his teenage years. "I can tell you have voices that make you do things, correct?"

He's smart and cute. I slowly got off him and helped him up. When he stood he was pretty short.

He was probably up to my chin, surprising since I'm 5' 8". His hood fell off when he shook his head and I could see the blue messy curls covering his head. His caramel eyes just made me want to take out his eyes and eat them.

That sounds morbid. Sorry.

Run. This guy isn't good news.

He's fine. Shut up Luke.

Luke kept talking, but I ignored him and the guy suddenly talked, "My name's Alberto! Your name?" He put his hand out and I shook it.

"Rebecca Moore. Why were you watching me?" Alberto's eyes lit up, and he looked adorable. He kind of looked like that anime character-Deku, I think?-that Diana watches all the time.

"I was looking for my new school and you looked like the person on one of the photos our principal showed me, and I just wanted to make sure. I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable." He put sort of a sad face on.

That act didn't work on me. "Stop acting like that. Act how you usually do."

He smirked, "Aww, how'd you know?"

I rolled my eyes. "I'm around people like you all the time. Fake."

He looked offended. "I am not fake! I just wanted to make a good impression."

I rolled my eyes again and sat down on the roots of the tree and patted the floor next to me. "You can wait with me. No talking. No questions."

He smiled, nodded, and sat next to me.
