Here is the first one I wrote in a type of style called "Uncle Remus"

To strike thine foe
By: Elsa......
A scorpion meeteth a frog upon the bank of the river. Scorpion asketh of frog to taketh him across the river. Frog asketh of scorpion, how do I knoweth that thou willst stingeth me? Scorpion sayith to frog, I know If stingith thou, I shall perish therein the stream.
Frog then taketh scorpion across stream, but whilest they reach upon the middle of the stream, scorpion stung frog in thine side. Frog feels himself begin to sink, but asketh of scorpion before sinking therein the waves, why?
Scorpion says to frog beforeth he dies too, because it be in thine nature to strike upon thine foes.
.This Third one is in the type of version most people are used to reading in called the HANS Christian Anderson. (IKR! HANS!! LOLOLOLOL) But yes, that is its name. :P Here it is......
The Wise old Rooster
By: Elsa.....
The sun beat heartily down, shining as bright as a star in the pale, milky blue sky. Its warm rays slanted kindly over the hard ground and shimmered on the leaves of the great towering trees which were as high as two-story buildings. Its rays reached toward an old broken down barn, filtering inside it and casting light onto the walls making the shadows dance to a tune only they could hear.
As a ray of light illuminated the barn, a wise old rooster came hopping in slowly, his old tired legs wobbling from the strain. His once beautiful feathers, his pride and joy, were drooping from age. His once vibrant colors were fading away. Now, all he cared about in life was finding enough to eat and face another weary day on the farm.
Just as the rooster was wobbling tiredly past a pile of golden straw, the sunlight danced across a jewel embedded in the hard dirt floor of the barn. The rooster stopped and stared at it, his old brain whirling, debating whether or not to pick it up.
“If I pick it up and bring it to my master,” he mused, “he shall surely tear down our wonderful barn in search for more treasure! All I want is food, something useful. I will not take it. What would I use it for?”
So the rooster continued on his way, leaving the jewel shining in the dirt.
And there you have it! Three variations of three different Aesop's fables that I had to write in three different versions. Which did you guys like best?
Try reading the Uncle Remus version out loud! Its actually quite fun to read out loud.
FWI the Uncle Remus version is SUPPOSED to have alot of spelling errors and onomatopoeia ect. :) Just so you know.
My least favorite to write and read was the KJV. idk why, i just never like that version.....
Hope you liked them!
Like I said, THIS IS NOT AN UPDATE! Lol. restating the obvious.
Ok, Ill shut up now.
~Elsa........ OUT!
Lol
Btw, If you guys want to PM (Private Message) me, Id love to talk to you there! :)
THANK YOU FOR JUST BEING AWESOME!!!
