Chapter 3: Spidey

TOM POV

Tom: "What was she like? She seems intimidating."

Haz: "She was actually... Really sweet. I think she sensed I was nervous and tried to make me laugh, but she was still like... Cool."

Tom: "I don't think she's even noticed me."

Haz: "Well, it's all you for the rest of the day, right? Maybe you'll get to work with her."

Tom: "I hope so... But I also don't?"

We both laugh before I get into my Spidey suit and get all hooked up on set. I don't see y/n anywhere...

Y/N POV

I went outside to get some sunlight before it was gone. I really liked the warmth on my skin. Also, I felt like it somehow gave me more energy.

When I got back in, I went to find Robert.

Y/n: "Hey! You wanted me to meet someone?"

RDJ: "Oh shucks, he just got wired up," he points up.

I look up to see Spidey hooked up to his cables on set with one of the other stunt guys.

Y/n: "Oh yeah, Spidey! I met another guy... Haz?"

RDJ: "Spidey is Tom. Haz is his best friend and PA."

Y/n: "Ah, that makes sense... Yeah, I was curious about him. I'm not doing much with him today though."

RDJ: "Oh, well hopefully you'll still be around when he comes back down. I wanted you to meet him."

Y/n: "Why...?" I cross my arms and give him a little a look that suggests he has an ulterior motive.

RDJ: "Well, you're the youngest ones here. I figured you could bond a little," he shrugs.

Y/n: "Hm... Whatever you say," I walk away.

I head towards the director and watch over the cameras to see how the stunts look on screen.

TOM POV

I'm on set being told what I need to do when I see y/n come back. She goes to Robert and I think they're talking about me. She finally looks at me for the first time, I think, but I already have my mask on.

I see her go over to the director and cameras... She's watching me... And I'm suddenly very nervous.

George: "Tom? Are you listening?"

Tom: "Um... No, I'm sorry, I'm here," I shake my head.

George follows my gaze and chuckles when he figures out what I was looking at.

George: "Yes, she's quite... Something."

Tom: "Huh? No, I'm not... Okay, a little."

George: "Well, listen to me so you can impress her."

I nod my head and try my best to focus.

I do small, practice movements before it's time for me to do the real thing.

It's the part where I steal Cap's shield... And I do it perfectly, flip, and land in my squat.

I'm a little worried that y/n doesn't look impressed. In fact, she looks a little too unimpressed, her face a little scrunched up as she watches me on the screen.
