Chapter 5: Trickshot

Summary: THE TRICKSHOT Oliver and Felicity while still trying to adapt to life in the future learn new things that had happened since they were frozen. William's investigation into UltraTech takes a bizarre turn during a meeting. Oliver and Felicity while outside for a brief moment see a new PI that took his spot.

My name is Oliver Queen, after five years in hell I returned home with only one goal.

To save my city.

For the next six years I fought to keep my city safe.

But after a sudden turn of events my wife Felicity Smoak and myself were frozen in ice for 53 years.

My home will never be the same as it once was, but one thing remains the same.

But in order to protect my loved ones along with new surprises I must become someone else.

I must become SOMETHING else.

CLAYTON HOUSE

William looked at photographs of Alicia Walker that sat on his desk. UltraTech had the biggest presence in Neo Star City and by the pictures taken their CEO Alicia Walker was involved in a smuggling ring he was trying to stop.

"Why would Alicia do these things? she is a kind generous woman, and her company saved my town years ago". William said in thought holding his pen.

He felt for Alicia when her son was killed in that explosion years ago. William couldn't imagine what it was like to lose a child and the thought of his daughter being harmed especially with her being high functioning haunted him every second of his life since she was five years old.

Outside his house, Audrey was fixing the lawnmower near the garage. She was muttering to herself in frustration "no respect, doesn't appreciate anything I do at work". She went to the garage mistakenly releasing the brake of the mower.

Audrey went inside grabbed a wrench and saw the mower heading toward the Cruiser. "Oh no, this is going to hurt!". Seeing the mower crash into the cruiser.

Inside, William heard the cruiser alarm go off jumping for a moment. He ran downstairs and saw Audrey on her knees holding her hands in her ears shaking back and forth.

William walked to the cruiser shutting off the alarm.

Audrey was on the ground breathing heavily. "Honey I...." William began to speak but was cut off.

"Not now Dad! NOT NOW!". Audrey yelled in frustration about her tic. William went back inside as Audrey took a deep breath from her ordeal. William looked out the window as Audrey tied her strawberry red hair into a ponytail and set herself to work on the lawnmower. "Audrey... I wouldn't know what to do if you weren't in my life". William thought to himself as his daughter was fixing the mower outside unknown to him his father and stepmother were in another part of town in protective custody.

ALICIA WALKER'S PENTHOUSE

Alicia woke up to the sound of hologram alarm clock saying, "Good morning, Good Morning". rubbing her eyes getting up from bed while blinds opened up to a rainy sky. "Always rains here in the NSC". Alicia said rising from bed. she left her bedroom towards the bathroom and saw that nametag on the other side of the hallway.

Alicia stood there for a moment remembering the mornings she would go into his room and whenever she walked in she saw a happy smiling baby boy every morning to greet her. now she was alone since that day and left her son's room untouched ever since. in the shower she let out all of her emotions bottling them up shortly afterward when she came to UltraTech and when she came home to a empty house she felt cold and all of it came back to haunt her every time she walked in the door.
