So, as usual, I was grounded (for one day, and only because I didn't ask about a grade) (ugh.). And while reading Tales of Beedle and the Bard By J.K. Rowling (Hehe, nice product placement.) I began thinking, 'Well, maybe instead of grounding me, my parents could help me actually SOLVE the problem?'. Because honestly, for those people who lie, are probably intimidated of what people might say in return to their honesty.

Maybe if the world (parents included) would be a little less harsh on people (That deserve it. I'm not defending the murderers and rapists in the world), less would lie. Don't you think? This is something that constantly pisses me off, because when I'm in trouble, I am very intimidated by my own family, and I don't really think that should be happening.

I'm also not telling anyone that being all soft is good, (because it's not), but being downright intimidating is bad. I know my parents love me(I love them too. <3), but they can be really harsh sometimes.

In my opinion, I think the correct way to raise your kids is to actually understand their way of thinking and trust them. If they counter your trust, take away privileges gently, and get them to understand your way of thinking too. So then both kids and parents can come to terms and understand each other and be happy.

I'm not telling anyone how to raise their children correctly, (For those parents out there) just an opinion. :)

Again, if you are, thanks for reading this!~~~
