History gives us our narrative and we obey it in the present.  It is the template of our dramatic playing out on the stage of our society.  It tells us who we are and history is wrong.  So we are babes caste upon the turbulent waters, unable to find our way.  So we cling to the narrative that ultimately shreds us upon the rocks of reality, lost and forgotten.

We are told that our common enemy that oppresses us is some nebulous bogy man that is always so nebulous that we can never actually free ourselves.  At the end of the day, we individually are our own worst enemy.

We hold the key to the chains that we were tricked into forging.  We self impose our limits according to the narrative set by history as we know it.  The European conquest of North America is alot different in the approved propaganda/ history books than the ones written from the Native American perspective.

We cannot idealize our ancestors on either side or we will never know the truth.  Scientists learn from the scientist who came before and build upon their work.  What foundation do we have as a civilization if we believe only the lies that Suite us.  The lies that also entertain and excite.
