Where am I?

I feel my head whirring, and my whole body hurts. I slowly find the capability to open my eyes, to see a plain white ceiling, a bright light meeting my eyes.

I try to sit up, but a hand pushes me back down. Confused, I look over to see a woman in light blue scrubs. I recognized the tools beside her as my eyes began to work and I heard a soft beeping.

"Stay down, you were hurt pretty badly," her voice was soft while still being stern.

Bakugou complied, "hurt? What happened?" I asked, oblivious, and still numb.

The woman turned to me, "You were hit by a bus. It's a miracle you lived really, but thankfully the bus driver called an ambulance and we took care of you."
Her expression was kind, though she seemingly was tired. She turned back around to the tools, seemingly sorting them.

My mind raced as I tried to remember why I was out, why I didn't notice a bus, why I was in such a rush. I thought about the last things i remembered. I was in mh room and got a call, I was panicked and rushed out of the house because someone did something. They hurt them self. Eijirou.
I immediately started panicking, "No- I can't be here someone needs me-" i tried sitting up again, before being pushed down again, not by a hand this time. Confused, I looked back at the woman, which soon spoke. "You won't get far, trust me."

"Has anyone come and seen me?" I asked, wondering if Kirishima even knew what was happening. "Your mother and father. Along with Izuku Midoriya. He was really worried about you, do you know him?"

"He's in my class- whatever, has there been an Eijirou Kirishima?"

The woman turned, seemingly apologetic, "No, are they the one who needed your help?"

"He hurt himself that night and wanted to make sure he didn't do something dumb, is there a phone I can use?" I asked seemingly frantically, looking around. The woman nodded, pointing to a phone on the bedside.

I picked it up and the woman walked away from the bed, "I'll give you some privacy, I'll be back in roughly ten minutes."

I nodded and began dialing Kirishima's number, awaiting an answer. The phone rang three times before I got an answer, but when I did, it was the biggest feeling of relief I had ever felt.

"Hello...?" The voice on the other side was feminine, nothing like Kirishima's.

"Is Kirishima there!?" I asked immediately, causing a slight gasp to come from the other side.
"Um, no. They dropped their phone, and I'm trying to find them, do you know them..?"

"Jesus Christ- Yes, where did you find the phone?" I asked, the fear in my stomach only worsening.

"On the bridge near Dagobah..." her voice was shaky, like she was scared.

I fell silent as I felt tears start to fill my eyes, "No- don't tell me..."

"I- I don't think they did... um, from the photos they seem really happy, not someone who would... um.."

"it's called a mask, idiot. Just- I'll tell you his address so you can check and return the phone-" i said sternly, intending to check up on Kirishima through this girl.

"Why can't you?" She asked, seemingly rudely.

I growled, "I'm in the hospital, and can't move. Just- what's your name?"

"Chisai... Chisai Shoganorri. May I ask who Kirishima is to you?" Th girl responded, seemingly hesitant.

"My best friend, now do you have something to write with?"

When the girl replied with a simply yes, I gave her the address of Kirishima's house, and told her to get back to me or tell Kirishima to call me upon the return of the phone.

The call ended and i waited what felt like forever before the woman returned to the room, "how did it go?" She asked.

"Someone found his phone near Dagobah," i said, my voice clarifying my worries.

The woman was silent, before speaking up again, "I can send a police search for the area to check to see if he's just missing."

I shook my head, knowing it would be no use, "Someone's seeing if he's at his house, so.. hopefully I'll get a call from him. If not then yeah."

The woman was silent for a long while, leaving my thoughts to wander, the numbness in my body slowly deteriorating, all the pain I had been immune to moments ago became very present. I quickly understood that, yeah, he wouldn't have gotten far. The pain in my whole body was almost overwhelming, and the woman quickly noticed the grunts I was making.

She pulled out a bottle from a drawer, and took out two pills. She handed them to me, "here take these, it'll help the pain." I nodded and complied, though it was difficult without any water and laying down.

The worst pain in my body was the lump in my throat, though. The overwhelming fear that Eijirou may have killed himself because i wasn't there when i said i would be. It was terrifying.

[A/N sorry for the short chapter, I realized it had been a while and kind of rushed finishing it... anyway, the next chapter will be longer, I swear.]
