5 months after Leo's death
It has been 5 months since Leo died, no one is the same. The gods think sending us to school will raise our moral. Instead of staying in New York we all go to Texas to honor Leo. All of the Hephestus kids have set up a shrine for him, and the curse of cabin 9 has returned. We all miss his jokes, laughter, and even the team Leo shirts he made for us. We all wore them on his funeral, all of The 7 burned his shroud together on Olympus. It was one of the saddest things that have ever happened Hephestus was in tears, even Zeus shed one or two tears. They decided to reveal themselves to the world taking down the mist. So we were mainly there to protect mortals. The school was small and covered brown brick. Each of us had the same schedule

Gym
Math and English were relatively easy seeing as it is the first day. Greek was just an introduction, but Demigod studies. This is going to be interesting. The teacher is a woman in her mid-forties and to the looks of it a mortal. "I am miss. Jenkins, today we will be talking about The 7. " Oh great they're talking about us. "We will be starting with Leo Valdez" All of us sniffle a little, we aren't really over his death
. "He was a son of Hephestus and a fire user." A girl in the back raises her hand. "why did say was did he die or something?" all of us glare at her. "Yes, he did die. Which was honestly a good thing seeing as he was an idiot! He was known to set himself on fire! What an idiot, who is that stupid to go after Gaia alone. hey, no one cares anyway."
How dare she! Leo was our best friend. All the water in the room starts to churn, the wind picks up, lightning starts to strike, every electronic int he room starts to malfunction, gems are popping up on the floor, the shadows get thicker, and Annabeth reachers for her dagger. "How dare you!" we all scream in sync(bye bye bye!)
"Leo died a hero! He was our best friend, he was the greatest demigod of all time! You have no right incompetent mortal."I drown her, Tahlia electrocutes her, Hazel forms a cage of gold, Nico wraps the shadows around her wrists, Jason launches at least 50 miles an hour winds at her, Frank became a tiger, and Annabeth punched her in the face. "We are the Heroes Of Olympus! Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Hazel Levesque, Frank Zang, Tahlia, Nico Diangelo, Jason Grace, Piper McClean. We are demigods!"
All of a sudden a ball of fire lands in the middle of the room. We can start to see a shape in the flame, and it walks forward. When the flames settle more we see him. "I am Leo Valdez The now freer of Calypso, and Hero Of Olympus." With his hands-on fire, he screams "Olympians I summon you!"
This was DAM risky. No one has survived summoning the Olympians. When they arrive Zeus booms "Who dares summon the Olympians!" That is when Leo speaks up "I Leo Valdez, Hero Of Olympus do." Hephestus cries and runs to hug his son. "Leo I thought you were gone!" In typical Leo fashion, he replies "Nah you can't keep Mc Shizzle down! What do you say we rebuild the Argo 2, da" they just cry and hug again. We look back at the teacher "let that be a lesson for bad-mouthing the greeks!" Hades sends her to the field of punishment, and we all go home. We go home for the first time in 9 years im home, and im not leaving anytime soon.
Ok, I know this chapter is short and I haven't updated in a while. This is my way of coming to terms with Leos death dont judge me.
