But he DOES look good in a dress. Am I right... (crickets in the background)... ok fine I guess he doesn't but anyways enjoy the next chapter! :D

Chapter 6

"Keep your head down and your mouth shut, and you'll be fine," I told Elesis bluntly as we walked up to Windhelm's gates.

I didn't know what she was worried about, as she was wearing her armor so she didn't look suspicious about. There was nothing to be suspicious about. She was practically a Stormcloak now, not an Imperial soldier anymore.

"Dovahkiin," A guard greeted as we passed through, and I nodded back.

It was snowy thickly, which was the normal in Windhelm, and people were still going about their business in the dimming daylight. The snow crunched pleasantly beneath our feet, and Dom loved it. He ran and played in the snow, snapping at the snowflakes as they fell. I watched her with a smile on my face, but we reluctantly carried on. We reached the huge doors of the Palace of Kings, originally founded by Ysgramor himself.

I welcomed the warmth as we stepped in, and looked toward the length of the long hall to see Raven's sister, Norri, lounging on her throne, always at ease here. Lisa stood nearby, talking to Norri with annoyed expression on her face. Probably telling her off for something. I approached the throne, and Norri noticed and smiled easily. And she's a little fond over Lloyd.

"Jin," She greeted.

"Norri..., I can't believe your Jarl now," I greeted her, smiling.

Norri is Raven's little sister. Despite being small, she is a great fighter and leader. And she took Raven's Jarl duties after he became High King. She loves animals and very clumsy.

"Jin!" Lisa roared, and I had only a second to flinch before she grabbed the front of my armor and pushed me against the wall, her face livid.

"I-" I began, but she shook me harshly. Dom began to bark loudly.

"Oh it's a cute doggy." Norri said hugging and scratching Dom's head.

"What in Skyrim are you playing at? Disobeying orders? How do you think to the men when you pick and choose which orders to follow! And now Raven is on his way to Riften to find you!" She growled, and I winced.

"Lisa... doesn't be harsh," Norri murmured tiredly, but Lisa wasn't listening.

"This Imperial could have escaped and joined them again! We can't let the Imperials think that we haven't got our own soldiers under control!" She ranted, shaking me again.

"But she didn't escape!" I managed to choke out.

I glanced behind Lisa, and saw Elesis stood awkwardly and looking at the floor.

"That doesn't change the fact that you disobeyed direct orders from the High King himself!" Lisa continued, her face slowly turning bright red with rage.

Unfortunately, my own anger got the better of me, and I couldn't stop myself from retaliating.

"Fus-Ro!" I shouted, and the fairly weak Thu'um pushed her away to the other side of the room.

She fell into the wall, back first, and I stood defensively.

"Look, Lisa, I know what I did was rash, but Elesis didn't run away, and I think she's ready to become an official Stormcloak," I told her quickly before she could say anything else, and I saw Norri glance at Elesis, assessing her with her all-knowing eyes.
