"khun Joong this is our time , you have to persuade His Majesty to give you the prime minister's position , we will help you in the court "

"Ben was right khun Joong , you have the highest authority here , we can get rid of General Joss , khun Singto and khun Tharn easily , dont worry .."

both of khun Joong's colleagues persuading khun Joong but khun Joong somehow didnt too pay much attention to them both , like he was thinking about something else

Ben and Pavel looked at each other , they were talking to khun Joong but he didnt respond

"khun Joong .. is there anything troubling you ? " Pavel asked

khun Joong shook his head "no .. nothing .. do as you please then .."

"i know you and khun Tawan was close to each other khun Joong but dont let it make you forget your main goal here , we're both at your service and ready to help you with anything .. "

khun Joong nodded "alright .. you two may go , i'll meet you both at the palace tomorrow.."

khun Joong walked passed the dining room when he saw Kit was helping the servants prepared the food at the table , Kit was all smiling when he talked to the servants but he turned cold as an ice soon as he saw khun Joong there

"p'May , p'Ong , i'll leave first " Kit took off his apron "i'll have dinner at the kitchen with you two"

both of the servants confused but nodded then they found khun Joong already there at the dining room

"au .. khun Joong , khun Kit already prepared the dinner , you want to have your dinner now ? " one of the servant asked him

khun Joong looked at Kit that already left not even giving him a single glance

"hmm .. " khun Joong then sat on his chair as the servants prepared his plate , then the servants left khun Joong alone to  'enjoy' his dinner silently on his huge dining table that consists of 12 seats

Kit already on their bed when khun Joong stepped in, pretending to sleep as he facing the window and giving khun Joong his back coldly

khun Joong and Kit didnt have a talk since khun Tawan's passing , khun Joong also didnt bothered Kit at all

khun Joong pulled on the blanket on himself as he lied against Kit's back , both of them didnt sleep , they just staring blankly and drown on their inner thoughts

but khun Joong started talking

"when i was a child, i always asked my mother to buy me a honey bread at the market but my mother always said 'alright we'll buy it tomorrow' everyday but .. until the day she passed away , i never knew how the honey bread tasted like, because we were so poor and every kid around my age always bullied me , saying i'm a poor and fatherless kid , i have no one except my mother

my father was a noble and respectable high court officer, but my mother was a servant at his house , when her wife knew my mother had me , she was so angry and chased my mother away from the house , but my father didnt do anything, not even gave a single penny for my mother ..
