Something was chasing me and I kept running. It was dark, raining, and cold running through the forest wasn't exactly the best of ideas. I had to keep running to matter what happens. I wasn't watching my step and I fell and started rolling down the hill. Once I reached the bottom of the hill, I got up and I started running again as fast I could. I had to get away for it. My clothes were drenched from the rain and I had to find someplace safe from here. I couldn't use my powers I already try that. I thought running was my only option that's all real bright idea, Neon!
"You can't run forever!" That voice it wouldn't leave me alone. It was the same voice that told me that everyone was a liar. Whoever said this was I need to get away from him as fast as I could. I wish I could teleport like Ryuu so I could get out of here. I ran until I reach the river I looked back to see him coming closer. That's when I jumped into the river I could just to get to the other side. I felt something grabbing me pulling me under further. I felt their tight grip coming in closer and closer. I was pulling into the bottom I tried to escape their grasp everything I did become fertile. I felt the pressure in my head like I was drowning.
That's when my eyes shot open I lifted my body to an upright position and started coughing. I felt the pain in my neck come back and I felt the soreness in my wrists and my ankles. After my coughing fit I went over to the closet and looked to find anything long to wear to cover up any marks that were made. After I found something I went to the bathroom and took a shower. After I got dressed I look for some bandages to cover up the marks on my neck that were slowly fading the ones on both of my wrists and ankles. I made sure no one could see the bandages that no one could tell something had happened. I walked out of the bathroom and into the living room. I knew Kira wasn't up yet she was up late last night doing some reading. I decided to go for a walk, the sun wasn't even up yet
"Where are you going at this hour." I look at the clock.
"It's only 5 a.m."
"That's my point, did Kori come and find you yesterday." So they did send me to come to find me.
"Yeah, I know my grandfather back and I don't want to see him, Now, I'm going for a walk." I left the apartment. I was walking around Yamoto everything was so quiet that it was almost scary.
Those books I have read so far none of them make sense at all. They don't answer any of my questions at all. I have to remember that they were all written in a different time when things weren't as powerful as they are now. The marks on my neck, wrists, and ankles... how can dreams do something like that? Then again if there is one thing I learn about my powers is that they are very unpredictable.
"Neon!" I turned around to see Yuki. "It's awfully early for you to be walking around Yamoto."
"I'm just going for a walk." I was trying to keep my distance. I still don't know what Kori and Yuki would do if they found out about the bruise.
"It looks like more than that. Neon you look awfully pale."
"Yuki, what are you doing out here at this hour?" Yuki gave me a strange look. I was ready to run.
"I"m patrolling. I just checking up on things. Neon doesn't have to be so the distance from everyone." It's hard to trust anyone beside Kira.
"It's hard to trust anyone." I shouldn't lie to him.
"At least you are honest, I know it is hard to trust but you don't need to shut yourself from everyone else. I think you are hiding a deep dark secret and that doesn't help you. I know you don't want to see your grandfather, I don't blame you he has changed over the years. He isn't my favorite person in the world. I don't always agree with the decisions he makes." Yuki stepped closer to me. I was worried he would see the bandages. I took a step back.
