The next day, Tai, Blair, and Hallie were just about to walk to the card shop when "Master you're here! Come, its an emergency!" Next thing you know it, Tai was being dragged in. Charles took him to a poster. While they were going, people were going crazy, like someone threaten them. "Look here." Charles pointed at the poster. It was another tournament named "Fight for the Title." The difference is only certain people can enter. "How are people suppose to enter?" Blair asked. Charles took out his tablet. He show them a website. "By this."

"Buddyrankings. Buddyfighters get a special watch, called Buddy-Navi, that takes notes of your battle style, deck, and matches. It also records your points and win total." They were shocked. Hallie asked Charles "How do we get one?" "All participants in the card shop tornament get one." Blair looked at Hallie. "Don't I got ours including Hallie." They all thank him. Tai got blue, Blair got purple, Hallie got orange, Charles got red. Right when they put it on they heard something.

"EXECUTE, FINAL DRIVE!" The gang went to see what it was. It was buddyfight match that just finish. Charles told Tai, "That guy beat everyone in the store. Including me." Tai thought to himself, "This guy must know what his is doing." This sparks Tai's interest. The boy got up. He was about Tai's height and age, who has brown hair. "I'm done. There is no one here who could beat me. Or at least come close. He past Tai and the others. "Wait!" Tai got his attention. "Fight me. Fight me in a match." The store got quiet. The boy looked at him. "You aren't strong enough." Tai looked shooked. "If you want to fight..." He held up his wrist with his Buddy-Navi. It was green. "Then meet me in the tournament." He starts to walk out.

"At least tell me your name." He stopped. "Luke. Luke Torres." He left. Tai looked him up in the rankings. The group look. "Luke Torres-1000 points. How does he have that much already!?!" Tai went to the poster. The required points are 5000. Tai took a note on his Buddy-Navi. He turn to the group. "We have exactly 1 month to get the points. This will be good training and who knows we meet. Maybe even something special will happen." "I will no matter what!" "Can beat me though!" "Try saying that to your big sister." Tai laughed. "That's the spirit, but the challenge ain't over. It only just begun. Let's fight on!"
