3 weeks have past since the tournament announcement. It was Friday afternoon. School was out for the day, so the gang decided to go to the card shop. "Wow Tai. You have 6000 points and the second strongest buddyfighter with the first being Luke." Hallie was scrolling through the rankings. "Don't forget he is undefeated." Blair mentioned. "That's my master for ya." Charles was boasting. Tai was honored. "You guys made it too. Don't give me all the credit." They starts to laugh. "What a minute!" Everyone wonder what's happening. Hallie pointed to her screen. "Sis, you have 4986 points. The cutoff is tomorrow. What are you gonna do?" Blair looked around everyone was already in match.

Hallie came up with an idea. "Sis, I'll play you!" Blair was shocked. "Why would you do that? You could lost points, which you can be qualified."  Hallie showed Blair her screen. "My rank is 15th with 5132 points. I think I can sacrifice some points." Blair didn't know what to say. "Thank you!" "Thank me when you qualify." They set up their fields. "Show them the strength of the heart, Magical Innocence, set." "Show them your fiery spirit, Bravely Flame, set." The battle is ready. "Raise the Flag!"

Hallie went first. "Charge and draw. I call to the center Sage Kuguru. Then she will attack. I end." "Draw, charge and draw. I cast The Ark. I pay 2 gauge then set 2 cards underneath. Next I call Dragowizard Burning Wand to the center and cast Trans-flame. I use Burning Wand's effect for 1 damage. I end." Score: Hallie-8, Blair-8. "Draw, charge and draw. I call to the left Dragonblade Wielding Shelia Vanna. Its time for a link attack against Dragowizard. Kuguru effect activates I gain 1 life for the link attack, while Sheila gains Penetrate." Tai and Charles were watching the match closely. "Who do you think's gonna win?" "Blair's deck focus on spell cards to damage than the monsters. While Hallie's deck focus on link attacking to get penetrate. To be honest, I have no clue."
