GABRIELLE'S POV
When I woke up, my social media accounts were blowing up. Justin tilted my head back to give me multiple kisses before he saw what I was seeing.
I sighed saying,"Right, the fight. Maybe that's why my face still hurts, and my hand looks like I just fought Rocky."
Justin reached for my hand that I hit Victoria with before he frowned. Immediately, he rushed into the kitchen before he returned with ice and some supplies.
Justin made me hold the ice pack on my right cheek before he took care of my hand. Then, Justin took the ice pack from my hand and held the ice pack on my right cheek himself.I smiled at him saying,"Thanks. I love you."
Justin smiled back at me replying,"I love you, too, Gab."
Instead of going through my social media accounts, I decided to turn on the television. Justin tried to take the remote from me, but I popped his hand.
He groaned in pain, but the reporters were loving my fight with Vixen. However, everyone was basically saying," Poor Vixen. She just can't get a break from Gabrielle."Justin rubbed my knee as he said,"Baby, don't believe that stuff, okay?"
I rested my hand over Justin's hand as I replied,"I know, but they're right, Jay. I did start that fight. Vixen was actually going to walk away, and I pushed her. I started that fight."
Justin smiled at me before he said,"You're learning. That's a good sign. It lets me know that you won't let this happen again. I just want you to be okay, Gabrielle. I care about your career, too."
I hugged Justin's waist, and he ran his fingers through my hair. Then, Scooter called me.
Justin said,"Answer it, Gabrielle. I'm right here beside you. You have to answer it."
I answered,"Yes, Scooter?"
Scooter said to me as gently as possible,"I want you to know that I'm on your side, but we have to hold off on the rest of your tour. We'll move the dates and everything, but you're still on for Atlanta tomorrow. As much as I want to see you continue doing what you love, I don't think that it's a good idea to risk your safety."
I understood what Scooter was saying. I knew that I had let him down, so I had no choice but to do amazing tomorrow.
Justin kissed my hand, and Scooter said,"You're still worth something, kiddo."
I said to Scooter,"Thanks, Scooter, for everything."
Scooter asked me,"Why does it sound like you're giving up?"
I replied,"I'm not giving up, Scooter. I'm just saying thank you."
Scooter asked to talk to Justin, and I handed Justin my phone. However, there was a knock on my door. Justin got the door, and it was Mom and Dad.
I was going to have to get used to seeing them together, not just my mother.
Dad noticed Justin, and Mom said,"We came over to check on you after what happened last night. I had to talk your father out of coming back in here after you last night."
I looked over at my father saying,"That sounds like you. Thanks for doing what I asked. I appreciate it."
Dad nodded before he just looked at me.
Mom pulled me into the kitchen and said,"Gab, you need to speak to your father, honey. He misses you."
I looked out at Justin and my father. Justin shook my father's hand, yet he continued to talk to Scooter.
I said to Mom,"I've missed him, too, but I don't know if I want to do that."
Mom cupped my face saying,"Baby, you drop whatever this is, and you go speak to your father. Enjoy this time with him. We've already lost so much time with him already. Don't let the rest go to waste."
I nodded, and Justin yelled from the living room,"Gab, I've got to go to the studio, baby!"
I jogged over to Justin and said to him,"You'll call me when you make it there and then home?"
Justin stroked my cheek as he said,"Of course, I will. Hey, you still trust me?"
I gave him a long kiss before I said,"I do."
Justin gave me another kiss before he said goodbye to both of my parents. I watched him leave, and then I turned to my father.
