On the sixth day of Christmas...

"So? How'd it go with Asher?" Hayley asked coming into Annie's room and hopping on her bed. "It went, extremely well. I talked to him about his family, and I think I can help"

"So, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with him?" Annie turned around in her desk chair and faced her sister. "Well I would, but spending time with your family is still the biggest part of Christmas break"

Hayley laughed. "Well our parents don't think so" Annie's eyebrows creased. "What are you talking about?"

"Their going out, for some fancy dinner. Like a date, if you will. And Piper came back early so I'm going to stay at her house for a sleepover" Annie just stared at Hayley. "Are you serious?"

Hayley got off Annie's bed. "Yup. So you might want to go hand with Ash, I have to go pack. See ya" Hayley left the room and Annie sighed. She picked up her phone and texted Asher to see if it was alright that she came over.

After his response being yes, Annie gathered her things and left the house. Calling another uber, since her parents are taking the car.

They should really buy her a car.

My true love gave to me...

"So, what should we do first?" Annie asked smiling. Being greeted by Asher into his home was the best feeling she could imagine. "Well, seeing that our first date went well, I thought I could take you on another one. One more fitting and planned out"

"Are you sure Ash? Cause we can just stay in. I know it must be hard for you, your family leaving and everything" Asher waved away Annie's comment. "I want to feel better, so this is first. Now please, lets get into the car."

After driving around, talking about what they've been doing at their time in college, they park near an ice skating rink. "Your taking me ice skating?" Annie looks amused. "Well, yeah. Everyone loves ice skating"

Asher takes his key out and puts it in his pocket. "You ready?"

"Aren't you gonna be a gentlemen? You know, open my door for me?" Asher laughed historically. "Nah, I'm sure you can yourself" Annie looked hurt and Asher just laughed more. "I'm joking Anns, of course" Annie laughed off her feelings. "Yeah.."

Asher went around the car and opened the car door, he stretched out his hand and Annie took. "Thank you" Annie smiled and kept Asher's hand while they continued to walk into the building.

They paid for their skates and put them on near the seat in the front. "Ash.." Annie said looking up and Asher, who was standing up at the glass window waiting for Annie to finish tying her skates. "Yeah?"

"Thanks for taking me out today. Even with everything your going through..you gotta stay strong" Asher blushed, for the first time in front of her.

"Ash, are you blushing?" Asher's face turned extra red. "Your welcome Annie, lets go" Annie took his hand they both smiled.

Getting out onto the rink, both already knowing how to skate. They glided with each other hand in hand while the wind pushed against their face.

Annie laughed once she saw Asher do a twist and almost fall. "What's so funny?" Annie covered her mouth as she skated up to him. "I saw that, you almost fell"

"I did not" Asher folded his arms. "Watch and learn Ash" Annie took off in front of him. Skating backwards at first, then spinning in a row eight times and gliding her left foot in front of the other.

Annie turned once again due to the floor being slippery obviously. Asher came up and hugged her from behind. Annie laughing and blushing at the same time.

Asher kissed her on the cheek and took her hand. "Come on, lets skate show off" Asher smiled and they both took off.

Skating around for at least an hour, they decided to head out. After leaving their skates out the counter Annie stood still. "What's wrong?" Asher asked looking back at Annie laughing.

"It feels like I'm still skating, help me" Asher laughed with her. "Okay, I'm coming" he walked back and picked her up bridal style. "You're so strong" Annie laughed again.

"Why are you so happy Annie?" Annie put her head onto Asher's chest. "Because...I'm happy"
