I read a book (bl😜) where there is a setting that inspired this idea. It's called Fairytale System, it's a really good book, and very well written, but propably not for everyone 😏
The idea is that it's set in a futuristic world, were the mystical creatures live somewhat alongside humans. Even though they are obviously stronger than the humans, they have signed an agreement to let them live in peace as long as the others also leave them be. Little red riding hood goes to visit her grandmother, but strays of the path to pick some flowers in a meadow, a lone Werewolf sees her and gets angry because she is on a sacred burying ground for generations of werewolves, and is tainting the place. He tries to tell her nicely to go away but she doesn't listen to him and tries to bore him to death with her whole life story instead. He decides to go to the grandmothers house that she mentioned to give the grandma a piece of advice regarding the annoying brat he encounterd. But when he gets to the house he realized that the old lady is a former werewolf hunter and has used her granddaughter for her evil scheme to lure him to the house, where another hunter from an illeagal organization is already waiting for him... will he survive? I have no clue 😇
I feel like writing this one down at some point but I'll propably not get to it in the foreseeable future.
