We walked into the diner all in hoodies. Even me, just for extra protection. And trust me I have gotten attached like a famous person before. Most fans know me as the best friend named Cleo.

I sit down on the edge next to Calum on one side and Ashton on the other. Luke and Michael on the other side.

"What do you guys want to get?" Michael asks all of us

"Pancakes" me and Luke say at the same time. We both then look at each other with mean glares.

"We can all order pancakes" Calum says breaking the silence.

"Sure whatever I don't care no more" Luke says looking at me then at Calum and not making eye contact with me for the rest on the time we were in the diner.

As we were walking back to the bus I noticed that I had forgot my headband at the restaurant. We were in American right now and I brought that headband from Australia and it's a really pretty headband.

"I'm going back to the diner really quick to get my headband" I tell them

"Wait someone needs to go with you just incase" Michael says

"Who?" I ask looking at all of them

"Luke can go because he is already to go to the next place and the rest of us are not" Calum says looking at me with an I'm sorry for doing this to you face.

"Why me?" Luke asks with just a tiny bit of angers in his voice

"Just go won't you! You two can't hate each other forever" Calum says

"Oh but we'll try" I say giving Luke a mean glare

Then Luke walks in front of me waiting for me to catch up to him.

We walk in silence until we get to the diner. When we get there I go up to the guy at the cashier who works here.

"Excuse me" I say, then he turns around and looks at me up and down with a smile. I was disgusted by the fact that he just checked me out. I feel Luke staring at me.

"What may I help you with. And I mean anything" The guy says while licking his lips.

I feel very disgusted. "I'm looking for my headband I left a couple minutes ago in here. It's black and blue"

The guy pulls my headband from a box that says 'Lost items' and hands it to me and I take it quickly

"You know there's a back room and I can be on my break" The guy says winking at me as he takes my hand and I try to pull away.

Then I feel someone grab my arm and yank me away from the other guy. I look up and it's Luke. The only time I'm glad Luke is here with me.

Luke is still holding on to my arm as he takes me out of the diner.

When we are outside and walking back  to the bus he lets go of my arm.

"Thank you" I say in a low voice

"You're not welcome" he says not looking at me

"Yeah but you still saved me. Why?" I ask

"Well I couldn't let that happen to you because they sent me with you to protect you. That's all , besides that I couldn't care what happens to you" Luke says still not looking at me

I want to give him a hug but I can't and won't.

"Thank you Luke" I say and the rest of the walk in silent
