Jace ran off rather quickly. Clary looked over at Alec with a look of shock written across her face. She walked over to him and hugged him. Clary felt him hug her back instantly. Clary was even more shocked by the action.

Clary smiled a wide smile up at Alec. "Alec." She said to him.

"Yes, Clary?" Alec asked with a look of confusion.

"One, thank. And two, your hugging me back." She smirked slightly at him.

"Oh shut up. Of course I will hug you back. I'm like your older brother. I.." He started to say then started to turn a deep shade of red.

"You what?" She asked and looked up because of height insufficiency.

"I... Love you like I love Izzy. Like a sister." Alec said and smiled after a while of just looking into her blazing green eyes.

"Awe, Alec. That's so sweet." Clary said and smiled even wider at him.

Alec rolled his eyes and laughed. Alec's eyes crinkled at the corners when he truly smiled. Alec's smile soon was wiped off his face when he looked over Clary's shoulder. Clary looked at him with slight worry, slight confusion. It was soon cleared when she turned her body slightly and saw Abby standing there. Fear soon took over Clary's being.

"Thank you." Abby said with the biggest smile on her face. No sarcasm detected in her tone.

"What?" Clary and Alec said at the same time, both astonished.

"What for?" Clary asked thinking Abby was messing with her.

"For knocking some sense into Jace." Abby said looking at both Alec and Clary. "If you didn't talk to him he would have never proposed to me again." Abby said with such happiness, Clary knew it wasn't fake at all.

"I did what?" Clary asked the brunette still trying to figure everything out.

"Yeah. So thank you so much." Abby said with the biggest smile. Abby walked up to Clary and wrapped her arms around her, hugging Clary.

It took Clary a moment but she hugged Abby back slowly. "Your welcome, Abby." Clary said softly into her shoulder. 

"Are you still up for planning our wedding?" Abby asked with hope that Clary still will plan the wedding.

"Of course." Clary said putting a fake smile on her face. Abby smiled and walked away with a little skip to her step.

"You're going to die." Alec said into Clary's ear.

"I know..." She said and leaned against Alec with tears in her eyes.

I hate that these chapters are so short but i can only fit so much without spoiling the next chapter for you guys! I try to make them as long as possible for you guys! Anyway... I hope you guys liked this chapter!! I will update hopefully within the next few days!
