You see Colby sitting on his bed crying. You look at Sam and Sam is sitting in the gaming chair looking at Colby. You asked Colby what happened and Colby wouldn't respond, you asked Sam what happened and Sam looked at you like you where stupid.

Sam:Jen I know you stud there and watched what happened so what do you think happened.

Jen: Sam I got out of the shower and I heard yelling all I saw was Jason swing at Colby and that was it.

Sam: Jen don't worry about it it's nun of your business.

Jen:yeah but Colby is my brother so I want to know what happened and what he couldn't do that made Jason so pissed off to where he would throw a punch at Colby.

Colby looked at you with tears in his ocean blue eyes and asked

Colby: has he really been keeping secrets from you? Do you really not know? Makes me wonder how much you really do know about the family you walk in to.

You looked at Colby and wondered what he was talking about. You where curious on what he meant about how much you actually know and what secrets he could be talking about.

Colby: Do you want to know the stories?

You nodded and sat down on the floor and you were ready to listen.

Colby: Sam moved onto the bed and let Jen sit there, or Jen you can sit in the bed it you want to.
Sam moved onto the bed and you sat in the chair.

Jen: okay what are the stories.

When Colby looked you were locked in his eyes, the same eyes that trapped you at the mall. The same eyes that you couldn't look away from.

Sam snapped his fingers and you shock your head as you came back to reality. You looked at Sam and he asked if you were okay.

Jen: yeah I'm okay I'm sorry I'm ready to listen I'm serious.

Colby: okay so when my parents where together, before they split I was 12. My father was coming home everyday at 12:00am and he got off of work at 4:30 pm. My mom would never tell me where he was but I knew. He was at the bar with all of his horrible friends. My mom was tired of it and she told my dad she wanted a divorce. It made things worse and my father started to get violent but not towards women only towards me. I never understood what I did to make him so mad. If I'm being honest I wanted to live at my moms but she was living in a one bedroom apartment and she told my dad that I needed to come live with him.

You looked at Colby and said I'm so sorry.

Colby:That's not all. When I was 15 my father told me to vacuum the living room and I asked if I could go to the bathroom first, he looked at me and said you always have to back talk and he grabbed his pocket knife and swung. I tried to dodge it and he got my arm.

Colby showed you the scar on his right arm. You could tell it was pretty bad.

Colby: I never told my mom but she knew something happened. My dad was so mad at himself for hurting me that he got drunk for the next 3 nights. He promised me that he would never get drunk and he sat me down and apologize for everything he did.

You questioned how long it was going to be before he did something like this to you and your mom.

Colby: I am only wondering how long it will be before he does something like this to you and your mom. Your mom is a really nice lady and to see something like that happen to either one of you would hurt me terribly.

You looked at Colby in amazement and you wondered what it was that he did that would have caused Jason to get so pissed off that he would of thrown a punch at Colby.

Jen: If you don't mind me asking what did you do tonight to make him so mad at you.

Colby: the day that you where moving here, I was told to paint your room your favorite color. Nice color pick by the way! Anyway he told me I had to be nice and even if you liked one of my friends that I needed to get over it and deal with the fact that you may like someone that I'm close to. So today during the video when you kissed Sam and Brennen. It made me kind of worried.

Jen: Please excuse me while I interrupt you but is it true when you where little that you always told your parents that you wanted a little sister.

Colby: yeah it's true and now that you are here I was so excited to tell people I have a little sister until you kissed Sam then everything changed. Sam is like my  brother he has stuck by me since freshman year and so I was not as happy to see my new little sister kiss my best friend. So after dinner when you left I said "gets to do what ever she wants like leave the table early and steal my best friend.

You looked at Sam with guilt in your eyes. You both turned back to face Colby.

Colby: When I said it I didn't mean it. When I said it I was saying it because I was mad. Did you see me check my phone during the video?

You and Sam both said no and Colby went one to explain.

Colby: well during the video right after you had kissed Sam my phone went off you kissed Brennen when I was looking at my phone and I saw a text from my girlfriend tell me that "she needed a break because this whole dating a Youtuber was getting out of control." She said she was reviving a lot of death threats because of it. So right after you kissed Brennen I went down stairs and ended the video.

You looked confused.

Jen: Corey told me you were laughing and everything was fine I'm so sorry I didn't know. And about stealing your friends if it bothered you I wouldn't——

You where cut off by the sounds of yelling from up stairs. The three of you ran up stairs to find
