Starting and new school (pt.2)📚

Jen: Hey Sam
Sam: Hi Jen, when we are in this class you will not talk to me unless it is about the project. But you will never talk to me about stuff at home.
You wondered if he was doing this because he was being an asshole or if because he was trying to protect you from being interrogated by your new classmates.
Sam: What happened last night we should never talk about. And where did you go this morning why did you just walk out and leave. You really hurt Colby.
Jen: I thought we weren't going to talk about what goes on at home.
Sam: okay listen you are younger then me don't use my own words against me!!
You smile and let out a little laugh. The rest of the class comes rushing in and you can feel the eyes of people behind you. You turn around to see who was staring at you.
Sam: don't worry about who's looking at you, you are  mostly being looked at because you are sitting with me and I never work with anyone. You are lucky.
Jen: why are you such a jackass to me??
Sam: (gasps) wow I'm so hurt that you would call me that.
Jen: really like you have never been called that before. I'm in shock.
Sam: no one has ever talk to me like that. Don't think you get a special treatment because you are Colby's sister.
Jen: I don't want you to treat me any different then you would treat anyone else.
Sam: don't think I will!!
Teacher: okay class quite down. Mr. Golbach would you like to introduce us to your new partner.
Sam: No I think she can do that her self.
Teacher: Well since you seem like you know her why don't you just tell us about her.
Sam looked at you and mouthed the words "I'm sorry"
Sam: This is Jen. She moved here from Kansas and she lives here now. But if I see anyone mess with her or try to harass her because she is talking to me I will throw hand with all of you.
Teacher: well for not wanting to introduce her, you sure know some stuff about her.
Everyone behind you whispered. You ignored it and stayed focused on the lesson.
Jen: Man what is going on with you? You have never done that and guess what I can take care of myself thank you!!
You watch Sam put his head down and look in shame. Your head was filled with thoughts of why he was being so nice. A few minutes ago he was telling you not to talk to him. What is going one with him. Class was about to come to an end. You had lunch next period and you where starving. The bell rang and you where out the door. You walked in to the cafeteria, and sat down at a table to start eating your lunch.
Random Girl: (sits down) Hi you must be the new girl Jen. Hi I'm Mazikeen, but everyone calls me Mazi.
Jen: Umm hello.
Mazi: so how do you know Sam?
Jen: Um he is a friend I guess.
Mazi: Well since he is a friend of yours do you think you could put in a good word for me about getting a date with him??
Jen: okay I don't even know you and I don't even like Sam and I don't even talk to him so—-
Sam walks up.
Sam: sorry if I am interrupting but can I sit here.
You look at Sam and just put you head down.
Mazi: yeah totally sit down sit down.
Sam: I mean like just me and her.
Mazi looked at you and glared then turned back to Sam and said
Mazi: yeah no problem I'll be leaving now.
Sam sat next to you and took your hand and intertwined your fingers. You pulled away.
Jen: what are you doing I thought you didn't like me.
Sam: Jen I never said that I am just trying to protect you.
Jen: well you think you can do that a little differently then holding my hand and acting like we are together. Man you are going to get me killed because of that.
Colby, Corey, and Brennen all walked up to the table and sat down. You just shook your head and grabbed your tray threw your food away and walked out of the building. You could hear the sound of footsteps behind you.
Jen: go away Colby leave me alone.
Corey: Jen are you okay
You turn around and look at Corey.
Jen: why does everyone care about me all of a sudden. I thought I was going to make a new friend today and then she was scared off by Sam and now she hates me.
Corey: I care about you because I thought we where friends.
Jen: I'm not saying we aren't it's just now everyone going to hate me because they all like you and I am taking you away from them. Sam told people he was going to throw hands with them if they try and mess with me, god only knows what Colby would do if a guy started to talk to me, Brennen doesn't like. And you well.... I just wish I was at home in Kansas with all me friends.
Corey: I get it I really do... I wish that my girlfriend from middle school would have left me for my best friend that also left me in middle school. The only reason it's so hard for you is because you where just thrown into the fires of hell with out getting to know anyone first. You are just having a hard time adjusting to the school.
Jen: thanks Corey that was really helpful I really need this.
Corey: Can you come back inside and sit with us again.
Jen: yeah I'm sorry I walked out that wasn't cool.
You guys walked in and sat down at the table but this time you ended up sitting next to Colby because Corey snatched your spot next to Sam.
Colby leaned over and whispered into your ear.
Colby: hey Jen are you okay.
Jen: yeah I'm okay just need to talk to a friend.
Sam looked at you with concern on his face. Was he really worried about you? Why would Sam be worried about you when he acts like a total dick to you everywhere you go.
Jen: Oh hey Sam that girl Mazi really likes you. And she is good looking. I think you should ask her out. I think you should give her a chance.
Sam: no she is a cheerleader and I don't like cheerleaders.
Your role your eyes and take some food off of Sam tray.
Sam: Hey next time don't throw your food away!!
Every one laughed and the bell for lunch to be over rang.

The final bell rang and the hallway filled with students trying to rush to there cars and leave. You walked down the hallway minding your own business when a boy ran into you.
Random boy: omg I'm so sorry.
Jen: it's okay I'm sorry I was in your way.
Random boy: it's okay that was my fault. Hi I'm Thomas.
Jen: Hi I'm Jen. Nice to meet you.
Thomas: Nice to meet you! I have never seen you before are you new?
Jen: yes and I'm only a Freshmen but I take Senior classes.
Thomas: well that's cool.
Jen: yeah I guess.
Thomas: well got to run hope I see your beautiful face again some time soon.
You blush and walk to your locker.
Brennen: why where you just talking to Thomas Nicholson?
Jen: he ran into me and I was just being nice. Why are you jealous??
Brennen: no why the fuck would I be jealous?
You smile and walk away. You meet Colby at his car and you guys go home.
You walked into the house and your mom said that you had a visitor from Kansas. You ran into your room to find.....
