#5 Prove it

I sit up on the couch where I passed out last might and rub my eyes a couple minutes after I hear a knock on the door "ughh fuck sakes" I say as I slowly stand up picking up the bottle of Jack from last night and taking a swing of it before walking towards the door right as I open the door Annie barges in "what the fuck uh hello to you too" I say and kick the door as I watch her go over and sit on my couch I then take a bigger drink from the bottle before putting it down on the counter it's definitely bout to be needed for sure I then slowly start walking over to the couch I then stand in front of it with my arms crossed, "two questions first off how the fuck do you know where I live? and second of all why the fuck are ya here?" I say to her she looks up at me "please just sit down bren" she says "uh no you didn't even answer me" I said she sighs "first of all Danny told me second of all sit down PLEASE" she says. I then roll my eyes practically ignoring her and walked off to my room and laid down on my bed covering my eyes with my hands in frustration. After about 15 minutes Annie walks in and sits on the end of my bed "Can we please talk.." she says, I sigh and sit up "what is there to even talk about Annie" I say while staring directly into her eyes then looking away. "A lot" she says "I'm truly not in the damn mood to talk to you " I say starting to get pissed off, then it was a couple minutes of pure silence... she was about to start saying something but before she could i cut her off "if your gonna talk and you want me to stay put you best bring me that bottle of Jack that's siting on the counter" I say with a smirk she then says "fine" and goes out to get it

She brings back the bottle and hands it to me "here" she says and sits back down by my feet I then open the bottle and take a few drinks from it then stare at her "are ya gonna talk or what I'm listening!!" I say.

She then takes a deep breath and starts
"Look Brennan I'm sorry For everything for leaving you behind without an explanation without a goodbye or absolutely anything I'm sorry I never tried to text or call you I did go back a few times too your parents house to see if you were there but they told me you left and they haven't talked to you forever or seen you I've asked so many people if they have heard from you, seen you or know bouts where you are but no one had an answer and then I saw you getting coffee down at the diner a few blocks away from here, I asked the lady there she said you always go to that diner to get a coffee and she told me about your mechanic shop so I went there and that's when I asked Danny if you were there and you were....I've missed you so fucken much Brennan I can't even explain it to you I really can't...I love you..." she finishes talking with a few tears down her face. By then I've drinked the rest of the bottle of Jack and placed it on my night stand not knowing what to say to all that cause my mind hasn't progressed it completely the only thing that I could say was "you don't love me if you did you would have never fucken left" I then stood up and walked in front of her "if you fucken love me then prove it Julianna Leblanc" she stands up and now we're practically face to face.
