"He has a doctors appointment on Tuesday at 11." I told Herb after handing him Yosohn's bag. I already said my goodbyes to him before I finally handed him off. I hated when my baby left me for the whole weekend because I get so lonely at home without him.
"Aigh'." He glanced over at Kiyana who was sitting in the chair with her legs crossed, glaring at him. "Don't you got work to do? Whatchu sitting here watching me for?"
Here we go...
"Nigga I'm working. Don't worry about what I got going on sis. And you ain't gonna do shit about it so dip." She snapped at him.
"Okay. Bye Herb" I said then pushed him out the office. I gave Yosohn on more kiss on the cheek before closing the door. I turned around and faced Kiyana. "Every time?"
"His bitch ass started with me." She said.
"You crazy as hell. Let's go, we got clients." I said as I pulled her up and dragged her along with me.
I decided to talk to Monique later on, before I leave. I wasn't sure if I wanted to fire her or not because her installs were always great. But she should've never tried to charged $250 to do something she's not experienced in. If Kiyana wasn't here to redo it, that client could've went home and got on social media, ranting about her hair. Bad publicity is not what we need right now.
By the time 5:00 reached, I had already finished so many heads, my hands and feet were so sore. Dave might have to feed me and carry me tonight. "What are you guys getting into tonight?" I asked.
"Shit, you tell me sis. I'm with all the antics and you know that." Kiyana said as she sat in my styling seat.
"Oh no. I was just asking. I have plans. I just wanted to know what you were doing tonight." I told her while giving her an awkward smile.
She raised her eyebrows. "What plans? Plans with who?"
"Dave said he wants to take me out tonight."
"Oh really? So you going on a date?" She asked me and crossed her arms then looked at me up and down. "Is this what you're wearing?"
"No bitch, I'm going home to change and he's gonna pick me up from there." I told her.
"Mhm. I'll be watching your location. I gotta make sure you don't end up somewhere you don't belong."
I rolled my eyes and shook my head at her. "Like I said before, crazy as hell." ~~~~~
"I'm outside." Dave said after I answered his call.
"Ok I'm coming." I said before I ended the call. I exhaled heavily, trying to calm down my nerves. I briefly fanned myself with my hand. I felt flushed, which makes me hot and when I'm hot, I begin to sweat. I don't need to be sweating right now.
Bitch get it together.
I don't know why I'm so nervous right now. Dave has seen me naked twice before and we talk to each other every day since we met. Even though it's only been a week, it feels longer. I shouldn't be nervous but ever since Kiyana called it a date, I've been so nervous. Let me just calm down and get this over with.
I brushed threw my now straight hair one last time and fixed my clothes in the mirror before finally heading outside.
