(Loki's POV)

After our kiss, we walked around the garden in a comfortable silence, Tera on my arm. I was elated. I have not felt this way in so long, that I had almost forgotten what it felt like. Being happy, in love. A smile crept its way on my face.

"Loki?"

"Yes my dove?"

"How are we going to tell the others? Tony is definitely not going to like the idea of us being together."

She voices her concern tentatively, testing the waters, still in disbelief that I was hers and she was mine. I was surprised as well.

"We will tell them in due time, I don't care if Stark threatens me. I refuse to lose you."

Her fair complexion reddens at my words.

"But for now, we can keep it a secret, if you wish."

She nods. "I'll probably tell Nat. She most likely knows what we're up to."

"As does Thor. Why don't we keep it between the four of us, just for now?"

She flashes a smile at me.

"We must be heading back though. I do not wish for Thor to send out search parties for us. He does tend to worry."

"Yeah," she says with a laugh. "The team will freak if they know you've left the tower."

I opened a portal, and with my love on my arm, we stepped through, entering the tower.

Where we were almost blasted back through a window. I quickly stepped in front of Tera, taking the blast, straight to my chest.

I growled in annoyance. I shot a spell back at the attacker, causing it to fall from the air, hissing and sparking. We ran over to it. It was one of Stark's Iron Legions. We looked up to see Banner and Romanoff running up a flight of stairs, Romanoff shooting at one of the robots. Barton had to leap to the side in order to avoid the oncoming fire. Stark leapt from a ledge, now riding a rogue robot, trying to dismember it. Thor threw one down from the balcony, nearly striking us.

"Do you mind?" I yell up at him. "We would prefer to not be impaled."

"Brother! No time to explain! Help us take down the Legion!"

I nodded and turned to tell Tera to stay out of the way since she didn't have any of her weapons with her, but she had already leapt into action. She ran towards the doctor that had healed Barton earlier.

"Nat!" She yelled as she ran.

Romanoff turned and threw a gun from the balcony without a moment's hesitation. Tera caught it, still running, and began firing at the robot hovering over the doctor.

"Loki! Now is not the time for admiration!"

I sighed and unsheathed my daggers, slicing at the robot that had foolishly tried to attack me. One wrapped its arms around me from behind.

"Thor!"

He turned to me and smiled. He flipped Mjolnir, prepared.

I grabbed the metal arm, and effortlessly flipped the robot over and threw it to Thor. He swung at hit and hit his mark. The machine flew past me and implanted into the wall.

"That's almost as fun as G-"

"Don't say it," I told him, pointing my dagger in his direction.

He kept smiling.

We watched the Captain take out the last machine, severing it with his shield.

"That was dramatic."
