Spending Time

Natsu POV

I have waited so long to bring Luce to this flower festival.I really wanted to spend time together with her and Happy but I'm pretty sure he is going to find Carla.I gave all the people in the castle a day off to spend time together with their love ones.Just like I'm doing right now.

It's not hard for the other demons in the castle to come here freely.When they change into humans the hold no sign of being a demon unless they use magic that is.It's different for me,even though I transform into a human,I still have black marks on my body and tiny horns on my head.I could cover it with my hair but I can't hide the marks.

You would think people will think it off as tattoes but you could feel immense power radiating from me,even a normal human can feel it.This only happens to royal demon family.It is passed down through every newborn royal demon.My brother also has tattoes but he showed his power to our subjects, that made them scared and follow all his commands.

I never wanted that,all I want is to be loved by my subjects and have a happy and peaceful kingdom just like how my father used to rule.He was always my idol from when I was young.He taught me how to learn magic and all kinds of stuff.

I was always a troublemaker,having fights or sometimes burn something.My parents always warned me not to do it again yet I still do it.I regret not following their orders,I should have make them proud instead of causing trouble but it's too late now.Since their death,I crave over them,crying all day and tried to be in their expactations.

I followed everything my brother order me to do because I always think he is much better of me but I didn't know what he was doing was wrong at that time.I wanted make him proud , my only living family.Anything my friend argued or adviced me had done nothing to make me change my mind.

One day,I suddenly snapped of what I had done.I had dreamed of my parents to stop my brother.... to stop what I was doing.On that day,I throw him out of the castle.I couldn't dare to throw him into the dungeons.He only wants power and I took it from him but now I regret not sending him to the dungeons he craved more power.

The coronation to be the King was the day after I threw him out.It was hard to adapt of so much work,I was usually free to do anything I want but I managed.I did study when I was young and I am kinda smart the only problem was I am a troublemaker.

Although when I became King,I lost hope to love anybody.I isolated myself from my friends.They wanted to help but I was scared to lose them.I only focused on making the Kingdom better like it used to be.That is until Luce came a long.Spending with her had made me warm again and made me the old person again.

She was my light to my darkness and I'm not even planning to lose it.I'm going to protect her and kill my brother.I don't really want to kill him,my only hope is Mavis and her kids can change his heart from corrupting more.

Back to what we are doing now,I took Lucy to a shop I come when I was young.There were sweets that are made out of flower petals.It's good but I'm not the sweet type.She was amazed her eyes sparkel.She is looking everywhere not knowing which one to pick.

I look at her amused.I never knew she like sweets."I think you should take this one.I tried it before and it's really good"I showed my finger to it.

She smiled and told the old lady that she wanted that one.The lady did told her some most sweets that were always sold out to her and Luce took all of them.

We walked out,Luce look aroung before running towards a direction.I chase after her to see what caught her eye.She wanted a flower shape balloon.I look at it then her to see if she was serious she wqnted it.She put on a sad puppy face so I had to buy it.

We continue to shop some foods and stuff for a few hours,Happy had flew away a long time ago.We did bought something to eat at when the cherry blossom tree gave out it's rainbow coloured petals.It was nearly 6 so we headed to the park.People were busy organizing to eat under the trees.

Somehow,we managed to find a spot under a nice shady tree.We could see the sun setting,the sky gave out layers of colour before it turns dark.The moon shining brightly.The pink petals of the tree turn in rainbow coloured.

You could hear happy laugh and wow sound from all the people,Luce was one of them.The shining light of it seemed to make her glow.She look so beautiful and happy.I want to see that face everyday.

My stomach growled loudly interupting the wonderful moment.Lucy turn her head to look at me and laugh.I laugh with her in embarrassment.

We ate our dinner,chatting.It turns out Lucy has never see a rainbow cherry blossom and had never been to a festival before.It made sense since the rainbow cherry blossom only grows here and most village don't celebrate the spring.

In a distance near us,we saw our friends hanging out together in a group.Levy saw us looking at them and waved her hand so we replied the same.I was really enjoying the moment.I really hope we could stay like this forever,no more worrying about Zeref just us.

Suddenly, the ground shook like an earthquake.An explosion had happened around the houses and shops causing smoke in the air.There were more explosion repeatively getting near to the park.The people started to freak out and ran away only the castle employees remain.

We stood in a fighthing stance ready to attack,another explosion errupted infront of us.When the smoke cleared,standing there was one of the Spriggans.We all glared at our enemy's but I'm sure mine is more deadly.
