Ok, this isn't another part of the story or anything. Sorry to get anyone disappointed.
Everybody is saying their theories for the second game, so I thought I might put mine out there!!!
Ok, here it goes:
As many people are saying (because of the pay check saying 1987) it is a prequel. I agree with this. But you may ask "but if it is a prequel why are the old animatronics there???" My theory is that they were the original animatronics but they were starting to get tattered and began to fall apart, so they got the Toy versions of the animatronics so they were more appealing, but after the children got murdered the new ones had to get disposed of because they are the animatronics that had the children been stuffed into. The buttons on the old Bonnie got changed and replaced with a bow tie once they got fixed and replaced.
Also I believe that it was The Mangle that caused the Bite of '87. This is how I think it happened:
Because The Mangle was destroyed by the kid so much they chose to have The Mangle be used for the children to take apart and put back together again (confirmed) and as one group of children were messing around with the head one dropped it which made it's jaw to snap shut, ripping off the kids frontal lobe.
Ok! That's it. Do you think it makes sense? That's just what I think at least.
