Amelia walked through the door, barely paying attention while she texted Katie.
"You can you it big sis! Only 2 nights to go!" She smiled as she read this
"Yeah! I can't wait to say goodbye to this creepy place, forever!" she replied. She tossed her phone onto the desk as she slumped into the chair. She reached over to get the phone, even before it began to ring.
"'Hello, hello? Hey! Hey, wow, day 4. I knew you could do it.' I knew I could do it too, thank you though" she smiled as she mimicked his voice while repeating him.
"'Uh, hey, listen, I may not be around to send you a message tomorrow.' Hey? What's that banging in the background?"
"'It's-It's been a bad night here for me. Um, I-I'm kinda glad that I recorded my messages for you uh, when I did.' What do you mean? Why? What's happening?"
"'Uh, hey, do me a favor. Maybe sometime, uh, you could check inside those suits in the back room? I'm gonna to try to hold out until someone checks.' What is happening? What is that banging?"
"'Maybe it won't be so bad. Uh, I-I-I-I always wondered what was in all those empty heads back there.' What are you talking about? Um, I will check on Saturday I guess. Wait, isn't that the same music from last night, when the power ran out?"
"You know... Oh, no! What? What's oh no for? Wait? Isn't that the chicken in the background? Where did you go? Sir?"she shouted the last part into the now silent phone. She put the phone down shakily as she shook her head to clear her thoughts.
"When were these recordings made? What... What just happened?" she asked, not expecting an answer. She nervously opened the camera just as the show stage opened it turned to static, a deep laugh echoed throughout the building, sending shivers down her spine. As the static cleared she was that the show stage was completely empty. Flicking through the camera feeds she was what appeared to be Freddy's eyes illuminated in the party room, Bonnie in the back room, Foxy poking his head out of his curtain, but she couldn't see Chica anywhere. Putting the screen down she heard feminine laughter, switching on the right door light she saw large yellow chicken smiling at her.
"A.a.a.are you l.l.L.l.lost, s.s.S.S.sweetie? D.d.d.do yo.yo.you know w.w.where yo.yo.yo.your f.f.family is?" slamming the door shut on the glitching animatronics she opened the cameras again. Seeing that Freddy was still in the same spot she felt more relieved than before, but seeing that that Foxy was preparing to run down the hallway the relief faded instantly, as she went to find Bonnie the cameras turned to static again. Closing the cameras again she checked the door lights she opened the right door again, as she turned to the left door she heard another glitching voice, she shut the door before she used the lights.
"H.h.h.hey ki.ki.kids! W.whats y.y.your f.fav.fav.favourite g.game to.to p.play?" the bulking purple shape of the animatronic rabbit asked, the last words fading away as he left. An eerie silence filed the room.
"Why did I ever agree to this stupid job?" Amelia asked herself, breaking the silence.
Sighing, she checked her power, the number 27% glowed brightly at her, alongside the more reassuring 5AM that flashed on the clock. She went to open the camera feeds again but a loud humming, coming from the left hallway, echoed around the room. Flicking open the camera she flicked through the feed, trying to find where it was coming from. When she stopped on Pirate Cove the humming was loudest, the tattered fox stood there, it's jaws moving ever so slightly. Realising that she didn't see either Bonnie or Chica when she was searching for the sound she switched off the camera. Distorted, glitched laughter from each door became far more noticeable when she had the camera down. Closing both of the doors she shuddered, as the laughter continued a sudden, unexpected rage filled her body, staggering to her feet she inhaled deeply
"Why won't you leave me alone?" she shouted as the laughter faded and the cheerful sound of the clock's alarm signalling 6AM soon became the only sound she could hear. Soon the cheering of the children replaced the clock. She hurried out of the building, refusing to look at anything but the door. After she walked through the crowd of children she broke into a run, not stopping until she got in visual range of where she lived, where she slowed to a fast jog.
