Us and Them

CH-2: Enter J-Hope and Jungkook

Summer Vacation was over and it was a school day.

Yoongi and Taehyung got up very late, so they had to skip breakfast. They always argued over something or the other while walking to school every day.

But, today they were both unusually silent.

Yoongi was tired and gloomy. Taehyung felt awkward to talk to Yoongi after what he said yesterday.

When they reached the school gate, someone was waiting for them. The person waved at them as soon as he saw Yoongi and Taehyung.

???: Hey Yoongi.......Taehyung!!

Yoongi noticed the person who waved at them. Even with his droopy eyes, he can never make a mistake recognizing who that person was!

Taehyung: Oh hey! Hobi Hyung!

Taehyung's eyes sparked up as he saw Hoseok. They ran towards each other screaming and hugged each other...........
still screaming until Yoongi caught up to them.

Yoongi: *sigh* Another day, another migraine. 😑

Hoseok: Rise and shine, Droopy eyes
*slap*

Yoongi: Argh!

Hoseok noticed Yoongi who was looking gloomy and slapped hard on his shoulder to hype him up.

Yoongi:*rubbing his shoulder*
*death glares* You looking for a death wish or something?

Hoseok being a sunshine repels Yoongi's darkness.

Hoseok:Ahahaha! Yoongi, always joking around. You still didn't change even though we had a long vacation.

Yoongi: And you're still loud as ever.

Hoseok laughed it off and walked with his arm around Yoongi's shoulder.

Hoseok: Let's go, Taehyung.

Taehyung: Hmm.....ok.

As they reached the school hall,

Taehyung: Where's Jungkookie?

Just then, a group of girls started shouting. And Taehyung looks up towards their direction.

Taehyung: Oh, there he is!

Right in the middle of the crowd, there was a tall young boy who looked cold and irritated with the attention he was getting. He was Jeon Jungkook.

Hoseok: I'll go get him *sigh* [This boy's becoming a chick magnet wherever he goes.]

Hoseok walks up to the crowd. With his chin up he spoke in a serious tone. He was the Vice President of the Student Council after all.

Hoseok:*serious tone* Excuse me, young ladies, It's time for class.

*excited* Come on! Let's go!!!

Jungkook:*done face* [Can't he be serious for more than two seconds?] 😑

Taehyung: Hey! Jungkook!
*waves at him*

Jungkook looked up from the crowd and saw Taehyung waving at him. Jungkook smiled and waved back. He couldn't possibly yell 'Hey' back at him as he wanted to maintain his cold image infront of the girls.

(The school bell rings)

Hoseok: Ok! The bell rang, time to go!!

The girls returned back to their classrooms, disappointed.

Jungkook: Hobi Hyung! Can't you be more serious infront of these girls? They are so annoying each morning.

Hoseok: Your welcome, Jungkookie! 🤗

Taehyung: Let's go! We are getting late for class.

As they were walking towards their classrooms,

Jungkook: Oh! Wait, Tae, I heard there is a transfer student in your class. I think........he is from Busan.

Taehyung: Really? *excited*

Taehyung lighted up upon hearing the news. He thought if he made friends with him, Yoongi would stop teasing him about having no friends.

Jungkook: So, . . . . . What I'm trying to say is . . . . . . Tae, pls don't bother him too much.

Jungkook giggled as he replied to Taehyung. Both Hoseok and Yoongi burst out laughing.

Taehyung: Ya! Jeon Jungkook! I don't-

Just then, a random sensei passing through the hallway spotted them, walking and taking their own time to enter their classrooms. He then yelled at them.

Sensei 1: HEY! why aren't you all in your classrooms yet?

Upon hearing him, all four of them dashed to their classrooms. Jungkook and Hoseok were in class 2-A whereas Yoongi and Taehyung were in class 2-B.

Fortunately, their Senseis didn't arrive yet.

Yoongi and Taehyung entered their classroom and took their seat at the last.

Taehyung:*cheekily* Heh! You just wait, Yoongi Hyung. I'm gonna be friends with this transfer student.

Yoongi: Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, We will see.
* rolls eyes*
