I don't own Girl Meets World!!!

Val woke Riley up twice before giving up and going back to her room to get ready. She put on a green, flowing crop top, a black button up, short skirt, and black tights. The she headed downstairs to start getting breakfast ready.

As she passed Riley's room she heard her sister complaining "Why didn't you wake me? It's electives day. The earlier we sign up, the better the chance we have of getting all the good ones."

Val poked her head in the room as her mother said "I tried to wake you up three times."

"And I tried to wake you up twice." Val called.

"You know I don't think you're serious until six times. You know the first three times I'm still checking for chicken pox to see if I can miss school." Riley groaned.

Val rolled her eyes and kept walking, Riley, Maya, and Topanga following her downstairs into the kitchen.

"Hey, I tickled your toes." Maya pointed out.

Riley blushed "Well, that explains the Lucas dream."

"Gross." Val muttered.

"So, what electives are we hoping for?" Topanga asked.

"I don't know, I'll take whatever I get." Val shrugged.

"We are hoping to get out of them." Maya sighed.

"Actually, it's not gonna happen, sister. These are service electives. Not only do they expect us to be students, but now they want to give us jobs." Riley explained to Maya.

"How are we supposed to work and go to school at the same time?" Maya moaned.

"Yeah, who does that?" Riley asked.

"How you doin'?" Their father asked, sticking his head into the kitchen.

"Oh, hey, honey. Where you going?" Topanga smirked.

"I'm going to school."

"Oh, whatcha gonna do there?"

"I'm gonna work."

"Wait, you're gonna go to work and school?" Topanga asked, faking astonishment.

"At the same time." Cory nodded.

"Wait, but just for a couple of days, right?" Topanga hid her smile behind her hand.

"No, no, no. This is forever. But Topanga, surely your responsibilities are temporary, right?" Cory raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, no. I have to do everything all the time." Topanga smiled.

"Hey, who's making breakfast right now?" Val teased.

"Okay, I have a little help." Topanga admitted.

"Bravo!" Riley clapped.

"No more. No more." Maya chanted.

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." Cory and Topanga smiled and bowed.

Val set plates of eggs, bacon, and fruit in front of her family "Eat."

"We will be here for the rest of your lives." Cory exclaimed, sitting down and starting to shovel food into his mouth.

"Have a good day, honey." Topanga grinned.

"I hate parent theater." Riley groaned.

Maya shrugged "Yeah, we did set them up pretty good."

"You know," Topanga took a bite "when I went to law school, I held down two part-time jobs."
