as it rained, autumn walker stood in the middle of an isolated street. looking up at the drops falling from the dark night sky. she smiled widely, breathing in the icy air.
making memories by herself was a regular occurrence. many people thought she was weird. she'd always draw and write about rain. for her, this was the best time of the year. the end of the autumn season. for others, like mason murphy, it was the worst.
like they say, opposites attract.
mason hated rain with a passion. his past wasn't great, and coincidentally every bad day he'd had in his life had been on a rainy day. unfortunately, mason had anxiety, which caused him to throw up a lot of the time. whilst most seventeen year old boys were sleeping their days and nights away, mason was spending his either chucking his guts up and losing sleep over it, or having panic attacks so violent he would burn himself to try and take the pain away. he was a very skinny boy, and about five foot ten. very content, but that was a given.
all he'd ever wanted was to die, but every time he tried, somebody always stopped him.
