I woke up to the sound of banging on the walls. Groaning, I sat up and looked around the room. It had to take me a minute for me to remember everything. When I had finally collected myself, I sat up and began to get myself cleaned up as much as I could.

Teddy said he had found clothes in the rooms and Nani had cinched and stretched them until they could fit us, but we still stuck to the hoodies and jeans that we had packed for ourselves. I walked out and walked downstairs to the common area. George and Nani were there, just talking to each other.  When they spotted me, they only waved and continued their conversation. I decided to wave back and just leave them. I left the common area and wandered around.

On my way to the greenhouse, I spotted Jake and I felt my face heat up. I ran ahead to catch up to him and tapped his shoulder. "Hey, J." He jumped when he heard me and turned around.

"Oh, you scared me, Esh!" He laughed, revealing his sweet dimples. I laughed along and started walking with him.

"Why were you scared? Are you hiding something?" I asked in a half teasing- half-serious tone. He chuckled and looked around nervously.

"Actually, yeah. Follow me." He grabbed my wrist and lead me through the house until we reached what looked like the perfect location for a man cave. He pulled me inside and closed the door behind me. "Here." He smiled and looked around.

I glanced around the room, not sure why he was excited over a nearly empty room. "Are you making a Men's Cave down here?" I asked, running my fingers over a dusty table and rubbing it between my fingers.

"No... Kinda?... I wanna turn it into a game room for the whole house so we can get our entertainment since we don't have our helper earpiece." He said and looked at me with hopeful eyes and I felt my knees instantly turn to jelly. "Maybe you could help me? It gets really boring by myself down here and if there are two of us then it can go faster. Plus, I want to spend some time with you. Everyone else seems bleh, but you are interesting." He smiled.

I smiled back at him and nodded. "Yea, sure. Yea, I'll help you." I said and rubbed my hands together. "What do you need help with?" I asked, looking around. He chuckled and I turned to him.

"We don't start today. I just need George to pry himself away from Nanielle and empty the rest, then I also needed Joseph to finish on the furniture. After that, then we can start decorating." He said, pushing his hair out of his face and looking down around the room.

"Oh," I muttered and dropped my hands to my sides. "That would make sense." He chuckled again and. patted my shoulder.

"No worries. I'm happy that you are excited to start. Georgia said you would." He said then left.

I nearly choked when he said that. I could imagine how that situation went down. Jake went up to Georgia to ask for her help, but she declines. Last minute she thinks about me and with her devilish knowing smile, she recommends me for the job and stressed how much I would love to work on this with him. I groaned out of embarrassment and made my way back out, on a mission to find Georgia.

I found her in the garden in the greenhouse with Mari. They were discussing something plant related when I walked in. They noticed my entrance and Georgia immediately beamed. "Eshe!" She smiled and her face went red. That only confirmed she knew what I came all the way on this side for.

"Mari, may I have a private conversation with Georgy." I asked in a calm, sweet tone.

Mari looked between us and shrugged. She left, leaving me and Georgia, who was silently begging her not to leave. After Mari, left, Georgia sighed and turned to me.

"Hey, Esh. Now before you start to chastise me on something I did wrong, just know that Mari saw the murderous look in your eyes. So if I go missing, she'll know who did it." She rambled.
