Encounter (Chapter 2)

           Wei couldn't control his feelings any longer, all the feelings he tried to conceal from that night never really went away. The pain and suffering he went through were unbearable. He thought he could never have a normal life again and sadly that the truth. "I never wanted to hurt him," he said with tears streaming down his face to his neck making the collar of his shirt wet. Nie didn't know what to do, he knew that Wei loved Hánguāng-jūn more than anything. "Hánguāng-jūn is still looking for you" Nie spoke trying to persuade Wei to find Lan Wangji. Wei looked up at the sky once more picturing them smiling and spending time together. Wei couldn't imagine seeing him again after 16 years. Lan Zhan probably hated him after practicing demonic cultivation. Sadly Wei didn't have a choice, he gave his golden core to Jiang Cheng and could no longer control Suibian. He couldn't tell anyone or else Jiang Cheng would be made fun of. Cultivation is Jiang Cheng's life, he is too competitive and would rather die than be normal. The Lan clan hates demonic cultivation more than anything. All Wei could think about was the desperate look on Lan Zhan's face when he was on the edge of the cliff. He felt like his heart was tearing itself apart piece by piece. He placed his hand on to his heart and dug his fingers into his chest like if he tried hard enough he could tare it out. "I forgot to tell you but Lan Zhan is accompanying clan leader Lan here today," Nie said hoping Wei wouldn't freak out and wake the whole city.

Hearing that Lan Zhan was coming to the Nie clan to talk about the happenings with the yin iron puppets with his brother immediately made him panic. He couldn't face the one that he loved. His eyes were wide with fear and panic. "How could you tell me this now" he panics and nearly loses balance. His hand gripped the handle of the fence. "If I told you, you would have run," Nie said fanning his face with his fan. Nie gripped Wei's arm and forced him to walk with him to the entrance of the Nie clan. "Why are you doing this?" Wei glared. "No matter what you will have to see him one way or another" Nie said while walking to the entrance.

Wei couldn't do anything or others would try to kill him while being by Nie the new clan leader. When they got there Lan Xichen and Lan Zhan were waiting there for Nie to greet them. "Clan leader Nie I see you have someone here" Lan Xichen bowed to greet Nie and I. "Yes, he is staying here for a while," Nie bowed before hiding his face with his fan. I bowed trying to keep my identity unnoticed. "I hope my presence won't be a bother," I said hoping there was some type of confidence that could be heard. "There won't be a problem" Lan Xichen smiled. They continued to walk to the unclean realm. Wei couldn't help but stare at Lan Zhan hoping he wouldn't notice. "What is your name?" Lan Xichen questioned. "My name?" Wei panicked. He had no idea what to say, he had no name that he could reply. "He is my servant" Nie panicked and looked at Wei hoping they wouldn't question any further. "He's not important," Nie said knowing he was gonna be hit for that later. Wei glared at Nie, he was definitely going to hit him for that later. After things calmed down I had a hard time not speaking, the silence killed me. "Clan Leader Nie would you like me to go prepare the room for Clan leader Lan and Hanguang-jun" I asked hoping I could get out of here as fast as possible. Nie looked at me confused, he probably thought I wanted to come with him. "Not necessary I have someone doing that currently," he said with a sly look hoping to piss him off. Wei had a hard time keeping his composure after Nie pulled that. He wanted to throw him into the water like they used to when they were kids. Wei tried his hardest not to think of the past, all it would bring is heartache and pain. Wei shook his head and continued to follow closely behind the three. They finally arrived at the Unclean Realm without any problems. "Please sit down i'll have someone prepare the tea for you both in just a second" Nie said hoping they wouldn't question why Wei was still in the room. "Thank you Clan leader Nie" Lan Xichen said with his amazing smile. Wei has always liked Lan Xichen but has never gotten to know him better. Lan Xichen noticed that I was looking at him, I've never felt so frightened in my life. "So what happened?" Nie questioned looking scared as ever. "We found that more people have been turning into zombies again but faster than before" Lan Xichen stated. "We think it is related to the yin metal but we aren't sure yet" He finished. Nie already knew about this but sadly he couldn't tell Lan Xichen just yet. "Clan leader Nie what do you think we should do?" Lan Xichen asked. "I don't know," Nie said hiding his face with his black iron fan. Lan Xichen looked irritated, you could tell he was getting angry. "Nie you can't always say I don't know I know that you aren't telling me something" Lan Xichen stated trying to keep his composure. Nie was taken back, he has never seen Lan Xichen angry before. Lan Xichen was known for being a kind and gentle person but he was fed up with Nie lying every time something bad happened. "I-I really don't know" Nie was frightened, he couldn't stop shaking. "I know something," Wei said walking towards Nie hoping that he would take his time to calm himself down. "The yin metal is involved but we don't know who has it or what they're motive is yet," Wei said with the ever so slightest smile on his face. "How would you know this information" Lan Xichen questioned. "Let's just say I know more about the yin metal than anyone," Wei said. I looked at Lan Zhan hoping he didn't know that it was me, I didn't want him to know my identity just yet. Lan Zhan couldn't handle not knowing who this man was, he had the information they didn't. "Take off your mask" Lan Zhan demanded.

I'm so so soo sorry I haven't updated in such a long time. I hope this chapter made up for that. I'm already working on chapter 3!
