Hello everyone, it's Anya here.
Welcome to another story. Here are some things you need to know before proceeding.

This story is set in India though the whole story will be in English with the exception of a couple of words like "mom", "dad" and so on which I will provide translations for.

There isn't an exact location where this story takes place but it's based in Kerala, India.

This story takes place in the 20th century though I don't really have a particular year. It's after the 1950s though.

Sorry for this long disclaimer. And as always this is an LGBTQ+ book, particularly girlxgirl, so if you have a problem with that please stop reading. I will not tolerate any hateful remarks to the community, any comments I see which are offensive will be deleted and blocked.

Trigger warning self-harm, suicide, sexual assault.

atelophobia
/əˌtɛləˈfəʊbɪə/
noun
1. The fear of imperfection or not being good enough.

Perfection.
Poised and polished perfection was one of the only things Sanjana strived for, things her parents wanted from her.
But not everyone gets what they want.
Immaculate presentation, pristine walls and a terribly imperfect soul; that's what Sanjana had.

Mysha was nothing like Sanjana.
All she enjoyed was destruction; imperfection at its finest.
Reckless, careless enjoyment.

"Opposites attract until they crash, break, burn."
