Chapter 2

The frightened girl I'd spoken of before was me. The minute we entered that classroom, we saw what no person should have to see. Thousands of snakes were eating the flesh of our once cheerful art teacher.

I dropped the glass I had in my hand the moment before and screamed louder than I ever have in my life. I turned to keep from looking at the sickening sight and was quickly embraced by Blake.

It was weird at first, but it helped calm me down. He pulled out his phone and dialed 911.

When we finally pulled apart, I realized just how hot he really was. He had pitch black hair and piercing blue eyes.

His skin was fair and his build was lean and yet really muscular at the same time. He was a soccer player after all.

He wore a blue cardigan over a red hoodie, blue jeans, and simple red tennis shoes. Were as I wore a black top that always left my right shoulder bare, denim shorts and black vans.

"Are you ok?" He asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yes, I think so." I replied. I started to smell the body, so I thought it'd be good to get out of there. "I'll go get a teacher."

I slowly stumbled down the hallway, and finally reached the Biology classroom. When I went in, though, everyone was asleep. Or, knocked out.

I gave them a confused look and walked to the history room. They were asleep too. I walked to more classrooms and realized that everyone was asleep.

I started to freak out as I headed back to the art room. "They're all asleep." I whispered to Blake. And instead of giving me a confused look, he gave me a frightened one. Like he knew what was happening.

"We need to get you out of here, now." He said as he grabbed my arm and started to pull me down the hall.

But, we stopped suddenly as we saw the principal walking towards us. "Where do you think you're going with her?" He asked. "The viper belongs to us." Then, thousands of rattle snakes began to pour out of his jacket sleeves, and they were all headed towards me.

I tried to run backwards, away from them, but fell right on my ass. They began to crawl on me and bite me.

I screamed and started shaking them off and then felt something on my neck move. Although I didn't have time to find out what because then everything suddenly went black.
