I will start at the beginning. James, or Jim as his coworkers called him, was known at the workplace as a normal guy. This came in handy when people heard things in the walls of Jim’s house. One day his friend Cheryll came over for dinner and she heard what she thought was a whisper coming from the wall. At first she dismissed the noise as the house settling. The second time was a bit suspicious. “ What’s that noise coming from the wall?” Cheryll asked. Jim’s hands got clammy and he changed the subject as quickly as Cheryll had brought it up. “ Do you want corn with your mashed potatos?” “Um.. Yeah, I guess.” When she left she was very confused. When the door closed behind her, she heard screams coming from the house. She turned around and stared at the ominous house as she slowly walked backwards to her vehicle.
Jim had a green thumb since he was a child and he experimented with his plants everyday while the other kids were playing ball and getting into trouble. As he grew older and more intelligent, he began to gene splice the plants. They were like his children. one day in the green house, he heard a noise. *HISSS* “Is somebody there?’ HE heard it again and realized that one of the plants had made the noise. He felt a sense of power. He was laying God. As he kept with the plants, they got smarter and smarter. The plants were watering themselves and maintaining themselves. They were becoming independant and no longer needed Him. This made Jim feel lonely so he decided to cage them insides his walls with a precise system for making himself needed.
One night, Jim had some friends over and threw a party for the new guy at work. There was music, dancing, and drinks. Everyone was having a great time Everyone except for the plants. The plants were fed up with Jim. The managed to get their roots into the pipes in the walls and get as much water as they wanted. They were getting stronger. All the sudden, over the music a dreadful noise shook the house. *CREAAAKKK* *CRACK* *BOOM* The walls burst open and water flooded the living room. The walls were gone and the plants were exposed. They were lime green with blue buds. They had huge teeth and big eyes. They were very angry.
Jim sat in the corner nearly lifeless with fear. “ Go… Go back in the walls, children,” he stuttered. The plants slowly moved toward Jim, teeth chattering. When the plants got their roots into the pipes, it was a gas line. The house filled with gas and a candle ignited the gas. Everyone was dead. Including Jim and the plants.
