"Well well well! look who actually showed!"

Phoenix frowned looking at Howard as he rolled up his sleeves.

"Lets just get this over with" 

"Where's Mar hm?"

Phoenix didn't say another word as his eyes darted around at the many other vk kids watching them.

"Wow still fighting for her even though she left you huh?" Howard laughed.

"Look you wanted a fight so lets get this over with"

"Indeed"

Phoenix's eyes widen as the vk kids around the room slowly started to approach him. Wait a minute he was only suppose to fight Howard what was going on?! He didn't get his answer though as Howard only wore a smirk. Phoenix fought and fended off as many vk kids as he could. Swinging his fists left and right but there was too many at once. 

"This is the end princey" Howard cooed.

"Far from it Fish breath"

Phoenix flinched as he hit the ground when the door to the broken building was kicked down. His eyes widen to see Harry and Uma with swords in their hands rushing in but they were also followed by...

"Phoenix!"

Mar, Mar was here and she came running towards him as fast as her stumbling feet would take her. Phoenix rose to his feet hugging her tightly as she fell into his arms. She felt like he was hugging a snow man but she was here. She was here.

"What are you doing here?!" he asked her looking down at the almost frozen girl.

"I came for you and that stupid smile I want to see someday"

Phoenix's heart skipped a beat. She cared about him? So much that even though she was freezing she asked her friends to come and aid him. She could have went to Mal and fixed everything if she knew Phoenix was fighting Howard. It was a chance to give her time and yet she was here.

"Mar I-"

"look out!"

Phoenix flinched as Mar pushed him to the side throwing her hand up in the air to caught the blade of a sword that had swung down. Howard's eyes widen as Mar looked at him her arm now frozen crushing the blade completely.

"You lose this time" she growled.

Then like the chicken he was seeing as his gang had retreated leaving Mar, Uma, Harry and Phoenix circling him. Howard pushed past Uma as fast as he could retreating as well.

"Ha! look at the guppy go!" Harry laughed before Uma nudged him.

Phoenix looked over to see what the two were staring at and it was Mar smiling as a tear rolled down her face.

"Mar?" Phoenix asked approaching her. His eyes widen in horror seeing that she was frozen in place. 

"Wait no we still can fix this we can still get you to Mal" Phoenix stated. Mar reached over and placed her unfrozen hand on his cheek before she gave him a smile. A REAL smile.

"Its okay...Phoenix I think I fell in love with y..." She had whispered before her face hand turned to ice....
