Mar's world was going black as her heart beat was slowing down. this is was it felt like dying she figured. It felt sad and lonely. She hated it. However even though her world was dark she still heard one last thing.
"I fell in love with you too"
She knew that voice. Phoenix. That was his voice. His stupid goofy voice. He had fallen for her too? That made her heart feel warm for the first time in years. She didn't understand this feeling but the cold feeling was slipping away. She could see the world again. She gasped for air once the ice was freed from her lungs and she looked to see Phoenix was hugging her. She nervously wrapped her arms around him making him flinch in surprise.
"M-Mar?" He whispered.
"Hey.." she whispered back.
Phoenix let out a chuckle of relief hugging her tighter making her bones feel like they're going to pop. She let out a small laugh before Phoenix kissed her. She was shocked for a moment but slowly kissed him back. Her curse is gone. She felt a weird feeling that she didn't quite understand but she knew what it probably was...happiness...and it felt amazing!
