Chapter Seven - Blood And Madness

Tokoyami and Jiro soon reached Hatake's house. When Jiro knocks on the door, no response was heard.

Jiro: Dr. Hatake? It's Jiro and Tokoyami! Hello?

Tokoyami scans the entrance to the house, he sees a bloodstain on the floor.

Tokoyami: Something's wrong.

Jiro and Tokoyami entered the house and we're horrified to see Hatake's dead body posed. Jiro runs over to the body and uses her Earphone Jacks to look for a pulse.

Jiro: He's dead....

As Jiro said that, Tokoyami clenched his fists in rage as they both knew who was responsible for the murder.

Tokoyami: Ripper....he'll answer for this!

As Tokoyami said that, whistling was heard. Tokoyami and Jiro searched their surroundings to see the Ripper exiting the kitchen while eating a sandwich.

The Ripper: Well look who it is! I was wondering when you two would show up! I hope you don't mind the blood! I was fixing myself something to eat!

Jiro: Ripper.....why?

The Ripper: You mean good ole doc? Let's just say I had some personal business to settle with him! I was going to show myself the door, but then I heard you two were dropping by so I figured I'd

Tokoyami and Jiro then rushes to attack the Ripper, but he used his Quirk to restrain the two Heroes with blood tendrils.

The Ripper: Looks like sticking around was worth it!

The Heroes try to break free, but they are unable to. The Ripper then chuckles.

The Ripper: Struggle all you like! It's not going to get you anywhere!

Tokoyami: Why do all this?!

The Ripper: The doc spent years trying to find out what made me tick when the answer to that was staring back at him! Blood and madness makes me tick!

Tokoyami and Jiro struggled to free themselves. Jiro is disgusted by the serial killer's words.

Jiro: You're insane!

The Ripper: Do you know the definition of insanity? Doing the same goddamn thing over and over again expecting some kind of change. I'm the one who sees the world as it is! The world is my canvass and my Quirk is the paintbrush! But I digress.

The Ripper then releases Tokoyami and Jiro from his trap. He uses his Quirk to form a blood scythe from Hatake's blood.

The Ripper: Let's have some fun!

The two Heroes prepared themselves as they stand face to face against the face of madness. They looked at each other with worry for one another.

Tokoyami: Kyoka.....be careful.

Jiro: I will Fumikage. Let's take this guy down!

Tokoyami then summoned Dark Shadow as Jiro launched channeled her heartbeat to create a concussive blast. The Ripper dodges the attacks and slashes wildly at the Heroes.

The Ripper: Come on! Make this fun for me!

Tokoyami then uses Dark Shadow to grab the Ripper.

Tokoyami: This ends now!

The Ripper: Not for me buddy!

The Ripper manipulates the pools of blood around Hatake's body. Jiro sees this and warns Tokoyami.

Jiro: Behind you!

Tokoyami sees the blood around Hatake's body forming into several bullet like projectiles. This forces him to drop the Ripper and focus Dark Shadow to shield him from the attack.

The Ripper: Good job! Now what are you going to do?!

The Ripper then blind sides Tokoyami and stabs him in the shoulder. Seeing this brought pain and terror to Jiro.

Jiro: Fumikage!

Seeing the Ripper preparing to kill her lover awakened something in Jiro. As he was about to stab Tokoyami, Jiro wraps her Earphone Jack around the Ripper's arm and pulls him towards her. 

Jiro: Stay away from him you son of a bitch!

The Ripper: I love a girl who fights back! Let's fucking party!

The Ripper then formed a blood spear from Tokoyami's blood and began attacking her. Jiro dodges his attacks. She then begins whipping the Ripper with her Earphone Jacks while dodging his attacks. She then shocks him with vibrations, but he laughs.

The Ripper: Man what a buzz! And I thought your boyfriend was fun! This is little shindig is turning out even better than I hoped! 

The Ripper then begins launching a savage assault on Jiro. Meanwhile, Tokoyami slowly recovers from the Ripper's attack. As he does so, the Ripper lands a punch on Jiro's face and stabs her in the abdomen. Tokoyami is horrified to silence.

Tokoyami: N...no....

Jiro coughs up blood as the Ripper lets out a sinister smile. He then caresses her face with his free hand. 

The Ripper: Guess this is where I make my exit. This was fun! See ya around! 

The Ripper then leaves the house. Tokoyami completely ignores the Ripper as he rushes over to the wounded Jiro. She's bleeding profusely while coughing blood. 

Jiro: F....Fumi.....kage.....

Tokoyami: Stay with me Kyoka! You're going to be okay!

Tokoyami applies pressure to the wound, but she continues blood. Horror and fear grips Tokoyami. Jiro soon passes out from blood loss. 

Tokoyami; Kyoka....Kyoka! Please! Please!

As Tokoyami tried to help Jiro, Yaoyorozu and Shoji enters the building after hearing the commotion. Upon seeing the mortally wounded Jiro, they were beyond horrified. 

Yaoyorozu: Oh my god! Kyoka!

Shoji: We need to get her to a hospital! 

Tokoyami: There's no time! She's losing too much blood! 

Knowing that time was against them, Tokoyami along with Yaoyorozu and Shoji worked to help save Jiro's life from the Ripper's attack. They would have to work fast if they were going to save her. Meanwhile, the Ripper planned his final deadly game.
