Welcome to Loading, this is a side chapter that focuses on explaining various aspects of the Game to the audience ranging from Lore Chapters to Gameplay Systems. In today's Loading Chapter we will be discussing the most important factor within Zerundus is arguably and how their presence changed Zerundus forever.

Bear in mind that over the years due to internal strife, racial rivalries, and doctrinal disputes. What we will discuss here is either half true or perhaps a completely biased account from certain sources.

[The Saints of Eirysia]

These adventurers would later restore peace between the Goetics and the Seraphs, Unify the fractured Kingdoms of Jordinheim and defeat the Dreadlords of Chaos. And returned the power of Eirysia to her as she created Zerundus while the Eight Seraphs, yes including the Leliel, passed on their powers to them, effectively turning them into Saints.

- Brief Overview of Zerundus' History

True to what many believe, the Saints were originally eight adventurers known for many great deeds in the world once known as Jordinheim. And their final adventure together as a whole was the inheritance of the powers of the Seraphs and to finally defeat the Chaos Dreadlords that plagued Jordinheim and guided the survivors of Jordinheim into Zerundus.

For a time, they all worked and planned together in hopes of crafting a golden age for generations to come. As if guided by a single idea of hope. Unfortunately, that idea was shattered, as it is said that Axton Duskwarden, the greatest among the Saints, had fallen and became what is now known as the Goetic Emperor and starting the Twilight of Heavensgard, a battle between the Saints that not only destroyed Heavensgard but also broke the fellowship that once bound the Saints.

No one knows what had truly happened on that day, but one thing is certain is that the Saints now refuse to go to Heavensgard, some say it is because of the Shame of the Past, some say because they no longer carry the right to remain there until eventually, they disappeared within history leaving not only the Twilight of Heavensgard a mystery but also their whereabouts.

One thing to note is that unlike the other six Saints, the followers of the Duskwarden and the Dawnguard will discover that the use of Dawn and Dusk Magic is not that easy to achieve. They must first undergo a trial that must prepare their bodies to develop an affinity for either the Dawn or Dusk element, many die with one out of a thousand initiates only surviving and that is the first alone, the second phase certainly kills them without even reaching the final stage of the Trial. Though what happens within these trials is to remain a secret with only a select few are allowed to discuss it publicly.

[Saint Axton Duskwarden]

[The Saint of Dusk]

[The Goetic Emperor]

[The Master of Noxamir]

[The Fallen Hero of Jordinheim]

"Do not fear the Darkness, as within that Darkness all things begin and all things will end.

It is through the darkness we begin to discern the difference of Night and Day, Dawn and Dusk as well as the Light and Dark.

Honor it as it is not only our beginning but also our end."

-Axton Duskwarden, Noxamirian Genesis

Revered as the one true God of the Myrken. Axton is viewed with a mixed opinion by those who are not a Myrken. At best he is remembered as the Greatest Swordsman and the Strongest of the Saints, at worst he is remembered as a false Saint tarnishing the name of Sainthood and Eirysia's name by sparking the [Twilight of Heavensgard] as well as becoming the [Goetic Emperor]. Regardless of what you may say about him, there is without a doubt that his actions had impacted Zerundus in more ways than one.
