[Snowhill, Shivangard]
Revan stared in absolute horror as F0x_H0und, Yuu and I0 lay dead in the snow. The Foxtail had been the receiving end of nearly a dozen stab wounds, the Hyluar had been impaled both in the chest and in the forehead, while the Dragoncrown had her tail cut off and a pair of daggers stabbed into her eye sockets.
All of which had happened within a span of minutes.
Revan then turned his attention to the Myrken girl who sheathed her last pair of daggers and looked at Revan.
"You're not gonna kill me?" Revan asked.
"No," She answered stoically as she grabbed Revan's and Galadrid's sword. "Besides there's still hope for you, unlike these four who only care for self-gain."
"Is that why you joined them?" Revan asked. "To test them?"
"That's right?" She answered. "My group is in need of extra fighters and I hoped that maybe they'll be able to be of use."
"And what about me?"
"Like I said there's still hope for you," She walked towards Revan and handed him the swords. "Though Nee-sama will have to do a double check on you soon."
"What group are you from anyway?" Revan asked as he placed both swords on his waist. "A guild? Or a Clan maybe?"
"You already heard about us actually," She said calmly. "Ask Celestia."
And with that, Eos walked away and vanished, leaving Revan alone. But as soon as she was gone Revan let out an annoyed groan and rubbed his face in frustration.
"Dammit, I got my kills stolen by some kid!"
"Revan!"
He turned around and found Trogden, Ortix Natalia and Celestia with a worried look.
"You good?" Trogden asked running towards him only to slide for a bit on the snow-covered ground.
"Yeah I'm fine," Revan answered, shooting a glance at Celestia. "Why are you guys here?"
"We got sent here by the Mayor," Celestia explained. "Told us you ran off trying to solo a group of several Marked Ones who are blatantly obvious that they're stronger than you."
"Well good news to them cause I got kills stolen," Revan sighed turning towards the corpses.
"Gotta admit," Ortix commented as he and Trogden looked at the corpses. "It's actually impressive."
"Some kid named Eos Frei did this," Revan said he then turned to Celestia with an inquisitive look. "Heard you knew her."
"That's right," She smiled. "She is the co-branch leader with her sister."
"Branch Leader?" Natalia asked.
"Yeah Eos and her sister Selena are leaders of the Shivangard Branch."
'Great so there's more of these pack-o-wacko cultists,' Revan thought.
"Anyway we should get back," Natalia said. "There might be a new objective for all of us."
"Agreed," Ortix said with a nod. "Plus the monsters are more aggressive at night so we should get going."
"Hey, why not?" Trogden chuckled. "At least we can get more Experience Points and level up faster."
"No," Natalia narrowed her eyes. "We're not risking that."
"Agreed," Celestia said. "We're not doing something so blatantly stupid."
