Chapter 10

"Over here." Kirishima beckoned. I followed him as he crouched down along the wall of an abandoned building.

"Is this it?" I ask, He nodded. I was growling quietly. I didn't want to give away our position, but I'm so pissed off right now.

He led me along the wall and to a door. We glanced inside the tiny window and saw a group of guys at a bar. We kept walking and found a staircase outside.
Kirishima turned to me, "let's find a way to get in, you take the stairs. I'll take the possible back door." I silently agreed and we split up.

I crawled as quietly as possible, the occasional squeaks from the rusted stairs were growing annoying. I sat up and pushed on the door, it was locked. Putting my hand on the lock, I squeezed it until it broke and allowed entrance.
It opened easily, the hallway was dark and musty. Time to go.

My POV

I watched as the criminals investigated the scene of bottles. I saw two shadows from outside the door, and felt something tug at my shirt. It was Kaminari, "Come, quickly!" He whispered. He showed me a wall and removed a piece of wood. It revealed a tunnel, sweet.

The tunnel was old and dirty, but what did I expect; a 5 star hotel? I crawled into an entrance and stood up. We were outside. "Ahh, cicadas. So mesmerizing."

"I suppose you'd like to know what's going on?" He asks. I see him sitting on the ground by a tree , where there was a plot of land with no grass growing

"Yes, why are people trying to kill me." I say a little too sarcastically. He stares at me, like there's a hidden joke.

"Alas, if you don't know. I won't tell you." He mused while pretending to check his nails. I walked over to him.

"why won't you tell me, I thought you were on my side."  I say agitated.

"Answer riddles three!" He exclaims. I frowned.

"What?" I say. Slightly confused at his outburst.

"Your no fun, fine. I'll tell you about the dark world." He says while motioning for me to sit down. "First, you'll need your mate." He says. I sit down.

"My what?" I ask. He smiled, "he's coming, I can feel his presence."
