~School~

~Third Person POV~

Russia slowly sank to the floor from his bed; the first step before getting ready for another pointless day of school. The Russian gradually turned his head to the side, now having a clear view of under the bed.

"There it went!", he then whispered in excitement. After a short match of the good ol' tug of war, he finally was able to release his ushanka from a wooden box's wrath. Once shifting his hat to a comfortable position, he then reached back under his bed to find out what the box was all about. Before being able to lift the jammed lid, someone caught him off-guard.

 "RUSSIA!"

~USSR POV~

"RUSSIA!", I shouted at him as I entered his room. I really feel like I can't trust that boy to be alone for more than a few hours, let alone a few minutes. I had a feeling that he was up to no good, and of course, my gut was right again. I knew that I should've moved that box to the attic; or even better, the dumpster. How can I be such a fool? Keeping that in one of my sons rooms unguarded. I didn't even put on a lock! Ugh, but anyway, I shouldn't be too hard on him...

~Third Person POV~

'Dad looked like he was about to explode. The box can't have that big of secrets... can it? Well, dad has never snapped at me over an object before, let alone a box. He must've woken on the wrong side of the bed again... like he does every other day.' Russia pondered to himself. He then slowly slid the box back far under his bed.

"No, give me the box" USSR spoke sternly as he held out a hand. Russia sighed, thinking, 'Guess he thinks that I was going to look in it after school while he's still at work. Well he isn't half wrong..'. He then proceeded to hesitantly pull out the small, wooden container again and handed it over in defeat.

"Breakfast is almost ready, so you better be soon as well. And do not THINK about looking in this box, because if you do, you know what will happen" USSR harshly spoke, bashing his fist and palm of both his hands together. Russia shivered and then held out a droopy okay sign.

"Don't give me any of that crap" USSR growled, before tramping out the door, box in hand. Russia then turned to his dresser and thought, 'That was a bit much'.

The smell of fried egg blanketed the air, drawing everyone but the cookers attention.  Russ finished brushing his ushanka; he didn't like it when the fur was going in every direction imaginable but the direction that it was suppose to be. He then slipped on his boots and went down the hall the head downstairs. The scent of heavenly made egg got stronger and stronger as he entered the kitchen, sitting down at the dining table which was coated in plates, bowls, cutlery and some food. He stared down at the plate that was laid in front of him and began to daydream until he then heard someone speak in his direction.

"Look who finally decided to turn up! The egg's almost gone, ya know." Russia looked up to see who it was and saw Ukraine, the boy that always wears a flower crown, standing there with a cheerful yet half disappointed expression on his face.

"It seems like you get up and ready later and later; at this rate, you're going to be late for school!" Uke said grinning and playfully nudged one of the other Russians shoulders. 'Seems at least someone here woke up happy' Russia wondered to himself as Ukraine laid out a set of salted, fried eggs. Of course, he ate them with gratitude; Ukraine was a great cook after all.

~Time Skip 1 Hour~

"Where Bela?", Russia asked Ukraine, a tint of worry in his tone.

"Ah, you know her. She probably go early without us to meet her friends that she hasn't seen in a while. Probably at a cafe with Switzerland or something talking about her new bison" Uke chuckled as she spoke, thinking back to the times where all three of them walked to school together. Too bad that they aren't that close anymore; but I guess that is what happens when you all have individual lives. The short walk to school was silent from then. It was a nice time to take in all the nature around you; the birds chirping, the slight breeze, even the country across the street who are peacefully mowing their lawn.

Once they finally arrived at school, Uke said her farewells to Russia and skipped into the mob of students, leaving Russia to 'be social'. Of course, Russ never planned on doing that; he was in senior year, now is not the time to make friends. After thinking for a bit, he finally decided to just get to class, but that meant he had to go through this claustrophobic crowd... eh, nothing he hasn't handled before. Before anyone knew, Russia started to dodge around the friend masses to at least get into the building. From there, he took out his phone to check on what class he had first.

"Connected, huh. I wonder what class that suppose to be on." Russia knew that the school classes had changed around a wee bit as the new batch of freshmen are coming up. But anyway, Russ then whispered out the room code, 'A15'.

"Oh hey, that use to be where health was". He heard a familiar voice from behind him, so he decided to look round.

"Wait... why are YOU here?"
