no more isaac and scarlett

Isaac's P.O.V.
I woke up for the last day of my summer job, feeling relieved that I won't have to work at this stupid ice cream shop with Jenna anymore. I got up and got ready. Before I knew it, I was out the door. I saw Scarlett coming back from her run. I try to look away but I can't help it, I miss her.

She rolls her eyes and tries to go back into her house until I open my mouth to say something. "Hypocrisy at its finest" I say referencing to her make out with that Jason guy, whatever his name is. "What are you talking about?" She says walking up to me.

"Next time you wanna blame someone for making out with another person while you were gone, you should also blame yourself for a random guy you were hooking up with in Paris." I feel quite angry about the thought of that motherfucker kissing Scarlett.

"First of all, I stopped him from kissing me, there was no 'hooking up' whatsoever. Second of all, how did you even know about that?"

"Your window was open, and you were ranting to your friend really loud, maybe check your surroundings before saying 'omg Jason kissed me!'" I mocked her.

"Jesse" she corrects. "And like I said I stopped him, why are you acting as if I kissed him, all I thought about was you when he was kissing me" I laugh.

"Now that's disturbing" I scoff. "No I mean I thought about you because I wanted it to be you that I was kissing, not him! Because I was in love with you." My heart was beating fast to those words, I didn't know what to say, whether I should keep arguing or tell her I love her too. "Was?"

"Yes. Was! Because you changed and it hurts knowing that I can't go back to talking to you normally, or holding you! I can't even look at you because you're just not the same Isaac I know" she says with a hurt tone and look on her face.

"I could say the same about you" I say almost getting in my car until she says something. "Bye Isaac" she slams the door, that goodbye wasn't just like any regular goodbye, it was one that meant forever. This year of meeting Scarlett, being her friend, then falling for her, was the best yet worst year of high school for me.

That was it, there is no more Isaac and Scarlett.

I started smoking weed that Jenna brought for me last night. I haven't smoked at the time that Scarlett was close to me, but now that she's out of my life, and Jenna budged her way back into it, I decided to just smoke my feelings away. Why not?

I drove to work and saw Chuck, our manager, sitting down playing video games on his phone. Boy was he lazy! "Last day of the job, better work hard for your last pay!" The first thing Chuck says to me as I walk in the shop. He never says hi, he hates everything about his life, including his employees.

The whole day flew by, I was so glad I was done with work. I received my money for the hours I was working. I was ready to leave until I heard Jenna trying to catch up to me. "I need to talk to you" she pulls my hand. "I don't wanna talk to you" I say feeling mad about the fact that she broke me and Scarlett up. "Funny because you wanted to talk to me when you used me to get over Scarlett at the time she was gone, you used me, the least you could do is talk to me." She was right, I do feel bad that I used her for one thing then act like she doesn't exist. I give in, and let her talk. "Isaac I'm sorry, for everything, I miss our relationship, I miss you, and yes, you deserve better than me, but I have changed."

She seemed really genuine, I didn't know whether I should give her another chance or not, Scarlett wasn't in my life anymore, Jenna is. "Jenna, like I said I forgive you but ever since you cheated on me, I-" she cut me off. "Isaac I will never cheat on you again, just give me one more chance", before I knew it, our faces were very close to eachother and our lips were barely an inch apart. I kissed her then I smiled. But she didn't make me feel the way Scarlett did. I just accepted it though, maybe it's just gonna take a while to get used to.

Jenna and Isaac are back together, but that doesn't mean it's the end of Scarlett and Isaac! Comment below what you think will happen!
