keith lay knocked out on the floor as lance and keith's mother fought. shiro picked keith up and carried him into the black lion. brandon followed with kelly. keith lay bleeding from his stomach as shiro began to take off.

time skip....

"we have to disappear for a while" shiro said. "take care" korlia said as she hugged shiro. "take care of yourselves and lance" keith said. the boys hugged trevor and korlia. "bye grandpa and grandma" they said. "keith take kelly with you" korlia said. "mom no you missed most of my life. i can't let you miss kelly's" keith said. "keith please. i can't lose her. please take her with you" korlia said. kelly started to cry. "mommy i don't want to go" she cried. "i know but you'll see me after this all blows over" korlia said. "don't worry kiddo your brother will take good care of you" trevor said as he hugged kelly.

kelly took her brother's hand as she waved good bye to her parents. kelly, keith, brandon, sam and shiro got into the black lion and flew off. it would be months or years before they'd see each other. but it was for the best.

time skip............weeks later....

they got lance back to normal as he called and called keith. "keith it's lance. i'm so sorry. i never meant to hurt you or the kids. i'm so worried. please come home. i miss you" he called again and again.

"keith it's lance again. i'm worried about you guys. and i...i need you to answer me please. i'm so worried. i can't sleep"

"you know who it is. we found mak. he's in jail. your mother is worried about me. i really need you to call me back okay" he began to sob. "i never meant to hurt you. your not annoying at all. please....please"

he called every day. hoping for an answer or a call back. but nothing came.
