"Hey y/n" Jake said in a shy tone making you blush. " hey Jake" you said trying to hide your face. The day went by normal, you made milkshakes and took orders until 3:30 came along and you went home. Your POV: My heart wouldn't stop racing as I thought about him. I get home and went straight to my room but when I open my door I saw Ruby sitting on my bed. "Um hi I wasn't expecting to see you till 5" I said confused "I have a spare key and got bored waiting so I came here and picked a cute outfit for you" Ruby said still staring at her phone. "Wow Ruby! You know I won't be allowed to wear that out if you're step brother is there!" "Well I guess you're lucky we aren't going out" Ruby said. I just rolled my eyes but caved in and put it on anyways:

I walk out and show Ruby "yes bitch! You're such a baddie!!" I giggle as I start walking to the car. I connect to the Bluetooth and start playing "bandit" by Juice WRLD, followed by "candy" by Doja cat. We pull up to her house as Chase gets there. "Yo huddy" I say giving him a fist bump "what's good lil y/n" I slightly push Ruby to hug him. "hey Hudson" she says and he playfully punches her. " sup small stuff" he says teasing her by measuring how much taller he is than her. We walk to the door but before we open it Jake does and I get butterflies. Jakes POV: I see y/n wearing a really hot outfit and cross my arms looking her up and down. "What are you wearing?" "Clothes" she says. " barely a shirt" Chase chimes in licking his lips jokingly. "Ew" Ruby and y/n say in unison. Dam y/n is good! Your POV: Chase and I always playfully flirt and I used to like him but we're better friends. "What movie are we gonna watch?" I say sitting in between the boys so close I can feel their body heat. "Something scary?"Ruby says crossing her fingers. "Why not" Jake says smirking. I can feel my heart jump as we connect eyes. "IT chapter 2?" Suggests Chase. We all agree and I move slightly closer to Jake. Jake's POV: I notice y/n move closer and I move my hand closer to her thigh. I see her face bright red so I decide to put my hand on her thigh at a scary part reassuring her that it's not real. Your POV: HIS. HAND. IS. ON. MY. THIGH. My thoughts race until there was a jump scare. I jumped so high I'm practically in Jake's lap. I blush "sorry" I whisper. "It's ok I like it" Jake quietly says into my ear making me smirk. I look over and Ruby is staring at us with a blank face. I blush,move,and then look at him. His hair, his eyes, his hands, his nose, his hand on my thigh. I then noticed that Chase was trying to pull me closer to him causing me to hold Jake's hand, I whispered to Chase "Ruby looks lonely" I whisper as he smirks and he moves her closer. They cuddle and Ruby is facing the other way so I wrap my arms around Jake. Chase's POV: I thought I liked them both until I wrap my arms around Ruby. How can I like my best friends step sibling! I thought as I turn and see y/n and Jake cuddling. It was then when I realized that her and I have the same problem. The way she looks at him and then Ruby can make anyone feel bad. Your POV: The movie is over so you quickly get away from Jake he makes a pouty face so you point at Ruby. He nods and gets up. "RUBY WAKE UP YOU LIL BITCH!" I yell "ok boomer" she says with her face buried in a pillow. " I love you Ruby" I giggle and pull her up. "Let's go to my room" she says "ok" I respond. She closes the door and turns around and start doing that thing when she jumps up and down giggling like a toddler. "Did you see?!?" She says smiling really big. "Yes! You 2 are soo goals!" I say. " well I saw you and" her smile becomes smaller "Jake" she looks down. "Listen Ik it's weird but please don't let Jake know you know what happened" I beg " ok I still ship it but it's just kinda weird. You never told me you like him" "that's because I was scared you would hate me" I say " I don't hate you! I was just confused" we hug it out and decide to get changed again:

(Left Ruby, right you) Some body knocks on her door "come in" I say and Jake walks in and the butterflies come back. " hey hottie" he says I giggle "hello handsome" we stop right before Chase comes in. "Wassup broski" he says to me "yo yo yo" I say. "We should play truth or dare!"
