"What's your name?"

"Ginny weasley"

"What school do you attend?"

"Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry"

"What house are you in?"

"Gryffindor"

"She seems to be fine enough to know who she is." Poppy turned to mcgonagall pressing her lips into a thin line

"Okay then let's ask her." The headmistress spoke a bit anxiously

"What if we get a bad response?"

"What if we don't?" Both women stared at each other for a second before poppy sighed and turned to the red headed girl again

"Ginny. What happened to you?" Madam pomfrey spoke slowly and carefully scared of what she hoped wouldn't happen

"I-" Ginny began before she fell over limp both women stared in shock as the gingers eyes glazed over into a deep black

"Harry did you do the transfiguration homework?" Ron asked from across the table scrambling to get everything done before his first class of the day

"Course I did. Draco's the same type of pushy as Hermione" Harry whined glancing at Draco who seemed to be in a deep conversation with Hermione

"Oh let me copy it!" Ron smiled excitedly before Harry could hand it over however they both received smacks

"Ouch! What was that for!?" they both whined in unison

"You can't copy off other people!" Hermione scolded

"Dont encourage him to copy you dimwit!" Draco continued

"Besides, transfiguration is cancelled today." Hermione sighed and all three boys turned to her

"Really!?" Ron smiled enthusiastically shoving the unfinished parchment into his bag

"Why?" Draco continued the conversation ignoring the glares around him

"mcgonagall had something to do." They all shrugged it off and continued to eat their breakfast though Draco felt like he was about to throw up. He had an odd feeling something was coming his way. Something bad.

After breakfast and the lack of class Draco took advantage of it and sprung for Harry before anyone else could

"Harryyyyy~" Draco cooed and Harry only rolled his eyes at the blond

"What do ya want?" Harry replied calmly as he practiced a small spell

"Let's go on that date yeah" Harry choked on the air and turned to him

"Now?"

"Yeah! Transfiguration was my only class today and I know it was your only class to!" Harry wrinkled his nose at Draco's tone but nodded

"Alright then let me get dressed" Draco sat on their shared bed impatiently as Harry pulled clean clothing from the drawers

"Uh. Draco maybe it's best if you wait in the library or I think you'll pop" Harry laughed and closed the bathroom door

"Humph! You think you're so funny potter!" Draco mutterd under his breath and left the room arms crossed over his chest, he pased by a couple of slytherins who glared at him but he ignored them and continued to walk

"The nerve. Acting all high and mighty"

"I know. He gave us shit reputation and thinks he can just date that freak and then be done with it?"

"He's probably blackmailed potter to act like they're dating"

Draco bit the inside of his cheek and continued to walk

"Don't get involved" he thought and turned the corner and leaned on the wall he slid down to the floor and hid his face in his arms

"I feel bad for the wesley girl"

"I know imagine having your boyfriend taken away."

"What a git"

Draco felt his eyes moisten as he heard the two boys walk away

"Its not true." Draco's head pearked up to see ron sitting beside him

"Excuse me?" Draco sighed turning away quickly to hide his tears

"You know it's not true. You're living it right now. Why do you keep letting it hurt you?" Draco thought silently as Ron spoke

"Because some of them seem right" he finally sniffed

"What parts? I can only pick out the fact that you're a git" Ron joked and Draco smiled

"I've been called every name in the book weasley. I've done my crimes and I still need to pay for them it seems. I've besmirched the name of slytherin. I've become a coward in the eyes of others. And I'm a pathetic peice of trash that fell in love with someone who I knew was taken but stood uncaring of that fact" Draco wiped away at the tears he swore he couldn't be more embarrassed and the fact that he had broken down in front of someone in such an unmalfoy manner not just anyone but a weasley. Ron weasley who had hated him for years and Draco felt pitiful because of it.

"You're in love with Harry?" Draco felt himself choke on air at Ron's words had he used that word? Did he even know what love ment? Surrounded by so much hatred his entire life could he even understand love?

Yet there he sat professing undying love for his chosen one. Bloody Harry Potter no less. Draco bit his lip and turned to Ron

"Yes."

They both sat in silence letting it sink in

"You're sure are a bloody git you know that?" Ron said standing and glaring ar Draco

"What?"

"I wont say anything about your feelings but bloody hell you're a bloody idiot. You're sitting here crying in the hallways of the best fucking school in the world and you dare let some petty remarks tear you down. You are that stupid bloody git Malfoy that survived years of abuse. Lived in the same house as Voldemort someone who wanted to kill the love of your life! You are a bloody genius that doesn't deserve this. And Ginny never had Harry. He found who he was and Ginny didn't accept that as much as it hurts me to say. Harry is better off with you. Now get up clean your face and fix your bloody hair because I can see Harry coming and damn it looks like he tried to brush his hair so he must be ready for a date so clean yourself up." Draco sat speechless as Ron turned the corner and greeted Harry to stall and give Draco time to put himself together and chuckle
