It was suffocating. Taunting eyes burned into his head ; he was imprisoned in the cages that were their repulsed gazes.
Now, Lucia Miles was a lot of things. Impassive. Dull. Apathetic. Detached. However, Lucia was not idiotic nor was he deaf. He could clearly hear the whispers about him, about what he had tried to do yet not succeeded.
Unfortunately, this had been going on since he had walked in the building this morning and throughout all of his classes so far.
Cursing under his breath, the brunette pushed open the doors to his art class before grudgingly dragging himself over to his seat ; keeping his indifferent gaze on the floor in a futile attempt to avoid meeting his teacher's weary one.
Lucia slumped back in his seat, a frustrated puff of air escaping his pursed lips.
"Bad day?"
The dull boy narrowed his eyes at the care free, playful tone in the voice before his irritated gaze snapped up to meet the boy sat across from him.
He didn't recognise the other student. He definitely hadn't seen him around school before. He certainly would have remembered a face like his.
Alluring blue eyes swimming with mischief. Soft, dirty blonde hair.
"Checking me out already? Wow, at least take me on a date first," The boy spoke up again, his soft smirking only growing.
"Get over yourself. I just- I don't recognise you. Are you new?" Lucia muttered with a defensive scoff.
The stranger leaned back in his seat, lean legs stretching out under the art table as his expression faltered for a brief second.
"No, I'm not new. You just probably haven't noticed me before," He explained with a lazy shrug, carelessly tossing his pencil onto the table as his steady gaze observed the drawing brunette.
Lucia simply hummed in response, his concentration on his shading.
"I didn't see you in math though," He voiced quietly, stretching his tense arms momentarily.
"Well, I'm not exactly a fan of math.."
"Makes sense.."
The blond's eyes flickered up and down Lucia's stiff form before he leaned forward in his seat.
"What's your name then?" He asked, his voice a murmur as he watched him with a teasing expression.
Pursing his lips together in annoyance, he shot up when the bell faintly echoed around the classroom.
"None of your buisness," He snapped softly as he quickened his pace, rushing out of the classroom leaving the smirking boy leaned against the table.
