A new hero an unexpected one

Kion didn't want his father's hug to end, he was stressed and scared and he didn't know what to do. He looked at his mother he could tell that she was barely breathing. Simba suggested they went for a walk. Kion nodded and off they went. After a while of walking. They stopped and decided to look at stars. They were making shapes with the stars. "That one looks like a bunny rabbit." Kion said laughing. "That one looks like a butterfly. See the big long wings?" Simba said. After a good while Kion was getting tired. He was asleep, then he heard them.. "D-Dad? They're back!" Simba saw them and his eyes widened. "Run Kion! Go!" "But what about you?" Kion asked worried. "Forget about me! Go!" "Dad no! I'm not leaving you!" Simba turned around and nudged Kion forward. "Dad what are you-?" "Go Kion, please!" "Dad! In case I never see you again....I, I love you." Kion ran into his father and gave him a quick hug before he ran off with tears streaming down his cheeks. Simba watched his son go he wanted to call him back and hug him but he needed his son to be safe. "I love you Kion." He whispered, then he turned around and faced the 4 of them. "Need rest.....but I must.....keep going.....Dad's life..... depends on it." As Kion was still weak he knew he needed to stop and rest, but he also knew he had to keep going. Kions legs were just about to give up, but when he saw the Tree of Life. He forced himself to keep running. Everyone looked at Kion as he ran in, when he stopped he collapsed on the floor. "Kion!" They all shouted. "Don't worry we'll help you!" Fuli said. "Guys no. Forget about me! Dad's in trouble, and he needs help now!" "Is it Scar and the other 3?" Fuli asked. "Yes! I didn't want to leave him but he forced me too!" "Anga! Will you carry Kion? That way he can tell us where Simba is." "Yep." Anga picked him up. Kion looked at Nala. "I-is she any better?" Nirmala shook her head. They all ran out. "He's this way!" Kion said forcing himself to hold up his paw in the direction. "We already told you what we wanted Simba." Scar said as the fire closed in slowly on him. "Just give up Kion and no one will come to any harm." "Yeah, except Kion!" "Well, if you want it this way, then so be it!" Scar said sinisterly." "Hold on Simba!" Fuli shouted. "Yeah, we'll get you out!" Beshte shouted. Anga put Kion down and she flew over to the rest of the Guard. "Big mistake, Eagle!" Mabaya said. Kion gasped as a ring of fire formed around him and was closing in on him fast. "Kion!" Simba shouted worried. "Anga Lenga." Kion closed his eyes as the fire neared him he whimpered in fear. Anga's talons grabbed his scruff and pulled him out just in time. Kion panted when she put him down. Suddenly Simba collapsed. "DAD!" The fire got closer to Simba. Without hesitation, Anga flew in and tried to pull him out. "I, I can't he's to heavy!" "NO!" Kion cried. "We have to get him out!" Fuli said frantically. Kion got up and he fell as he was too weak. "Daddy." Kion cried. "Just a few more minutes and he'll be gone Kion!" Kion didn't say anything he just cried and looked up at them. Uchafu started to feel bad. "You know what Scar? F*ck this! You've gone too far!" Uchafu said making the ring of fire disappear from around Simba. "You said that kid was horrible! He's not! You too once had a loving mother! Not so much a father but this kid does!" "What has gotten into you Uchafu!" Scar shouted. "Before I died i regretted my decisions! I want to be good! Not evil! Like you Mabaya and Hasira! But you forced me too! That poor kid is traumatised! Because of you, YOU!" Kion looked up surprised at Uchafu. "Now you 3 go away and leave them be! Or I'll get The Lions of The Past to rain on all of you!" Scar Mabaya and Hasira disappeared fast. "I'm sorry for all I've done Kion." Uchafu said apologeticly. "I accept your apology. I just hope Dad's ok." Kion said tears in his eyes. Kion tried to get up again but the minute he stood he fell. "Here Kion I'll help you." "Thanks Anga." She flew Kion over to Simba she put him down next to him. "Dad?" Kion asked brushing up against his stomach. "Dad?" Kion put his ear up against his stomach listening for his heart beat or hearing him breathe. Kion smiled and said with tears in his eyes. "He's alive!" The Guard sighed with relief. "Thank goodness!" Fuli said. Kion smiled and cuddled up next to his father. "What will we do with that guy?" Fuli asked. "I don't know. Uchafu saved my Dad....he saved all of us from Scar Mabaya and Hasira." "I guess that's true." Ono said. "I'm sorry Lion Guard....for everything. It's just I had a traumatic cub-hood. My father abused me and my mother just stood there watching him torture me. I had no one to teach me right and wrong. But now thanks to you I see what's right and what's wrong. And I thank you for that. If you ever need my help some time in the future I'll be here." "Thank you Uchafu." Kion said smiling. Uchafu nodded and he disappeared. Kion cuddled into Simba he shedded a few tears. "Want us to stay with you Kion?" Fuli asked. "No I think I'll be ok." She nodded and they walked back to the Tree of Life. "Kion, I want to stay with you. Please?" "Of course you can stay Rani." Kion and Rani were joking about things from when they were little cubs. "I remember when me and Bunga were little we ran into trouble with the crocodiles. And Zazu flew into Makuu's mouth to save us." "He what?!' "But Pua who was the leader of the crocs let us all go." "Zazu sure is brave." "Yeah, he is." Kion looked at his father. "What do you think happened to him?"He asked her. "I don't know, it seems odd, very odd." Kion wanted to make sure he was alive he put his ear up to his stomach. Simbas breathing was normal. Rani got up and she looked for any burns on him. "He looks fine, I'd say he just breathed in a bit too much smoke which caused him to pass out but he'll be fine." Kion sighed with relief. He tried again to get up, but before he could Rani pushed him back down. "No don't even try it." She said seriously. "But-" "No." She said giving him a serious yet loving look. Kion sighed. "Fine."
It's dark now.
"I'm sorry Kion, I gotta meet up with the Night Pride." "Alright bye Rani." They nuzzled for a minute and then she walked off. Kion looked at his father and brushed up against him again trying to wake him up, he then whispered, "Dad? Dad?" There was no response. Kion put his head down he tried to stay awake but he soon drifted off to sleep. A few minutes later Kion woke up again. He nudged Simba and he moaned. "Dad? Dad?" He moaned again and he opened his eyes to see an exhausted Kion. "Kion! Your safe!" Simba said hugging him. "Kion you look exhausted." Kion nodded and yawned. Simba put his paw around him and he put his head down. Trying to make Kion think he was going to sleep so Kion would sleep. Kion put his head down and he soon fell asleep. Rani came to check on them the rest of the Night Pride did the patrol. "Simba, glad to see your awake. Is Kion awake?" "No, he just fell asleep." "Oh OK, I'll see you two later." Kion woke to see Rani leaving, he was going to call out to her but he was too tired. He looked at Simba for a minute and then before he knew it he was asleep again. Simba looked at his sleeping son, in the gentlest, he could he picked him up and put him on his back. When he reached the Tree of Life he saw the Guard asleep he put Kion down. He started to moan as if something was happening in his dream. Simba saw this and started licking him soothingly. After a minute Kion stopped and his frown turned to a smile. Simba smiled and gave him a quick hug and put his head down and he fell asleep.
