The search for Kenge

"Don't worry Night Pride I'm sure Makini can help you" said Kion. "Oh yes, I remember the things I need to make the remedy! I'll go do it now!" "Kion you all better go back to the Tree of Life and get some rest." "No Rani I'm not leaving you and the Night Pride! "Don't worry Kion I'll stay here and keep watch" Anga said reassuring him. Kion looked at Fuli and she nudged her head back to the Tree of Life, Kion reluctantly left the Night Pride and headed towards the Tree of Life.
Nearly an hour later
It had almost been an hour most of them were asleep except Kion and Fuli . Kion kept looking out the entrance of the Tree hoping Rani was ok. "Kion?" Kion looked at Fuli. "You've been awake almost an hour you need to sleep" "I-I can't" "Look I know you're worried but Makini's got this" Fuli said trying her best to reassure him. "No Fuli somethings not right." "OK we'll take a walk around and if nothings wrong your coming back here and you're going to sleep ok?" "Alright miss boss" Kion said. Fuli laughed softly. "Who's there?!" Fuli shouted. Makini appeared out of the bushes. "Oh Makini it's just you." Fuli said relieved. "How's the Night Pride?" Kion asked worried. "They'll be walking in no time!" "See Kion? They're fine now we're going back to the Tree of Life and you're going to sleep." All right" as they walked back Kion was getting very sleepy, then he yawned. "Tired?" Kion nodded sleepy. "We're nearly at the Tree once we're there you can sleep" Kion smiled and said, "Thanks Fuli for everything" "No problem Kion you know I'm always gonna be here for you so is the rest of the Guard. Bungas definitely gonna be there for you in his own way but he does get out of hand sometimes." "Yeah you're right about that." They entered the Tree of Life and Kion layed down at quickly drifted off to sleep
The next morning
Kion woke to see the Night Pride coming in. "Kion!" "Rani! They said hugging each other. "You and the Guard up for patrol?" "You know it!" Fuli said. Kion smiled. Beshte and Ono and Anga were already awake Kion went to wake Bunga. "Bunga, Bunga wake up." 'Yeah I love you too Binga" Kion Rani the Guard and Jasiri and Janja couldn't help but laugh. Kion said half laughing, "Bunga! Wake up!" "What's that?  Another bug eating contest? Your on". Again they all laughed. Fuli decided to grab his scruff since he wasn't going to wake up soon and they started their patrol.
A few minutes later
Fuli had Bunga on her back. "Sure is nice to have the peace and quiet." Fuli said. Kion smiled.then they heard a scream. "Anga?" Kion said. "Yep, it's a lizard chasing after the mountain goats. He's green and has a yellow-ish belly." "That's definitely Kenge." Ono said. "Bunga! Wake up!" "Wha- Where are we?" "We got a problem Bunga it's Kenge" "That lizard?" Bunga asked. Fuli nodded as they ran. "Leave him to me!" "Kenge! What are you doing here?" Kion asked a bit of anger in his voice. "T-The Lion Guard? What are you doing here?" "News flash we live here now!" Said Bunga. "No matter, I'll just paralyse you like I did to the brown lions!" Kenge said angrily. "One of those lions was my mate!" Kion shouted then growled. "Like I care." Kenge said angrily. Kenge attacked them. He went for Beshte. "Beshte get back!" Kion shouted. Just then Simba Nala Kiara and Kovu came around the corner. Kenge lunged at Simba. "Dad! Look out!" Kion shouted. Kion pushed him out of the way and he ended up in taking the bite. Kion winced in pain. Simba got up and Kenge lunged at him. Simba moved quickly. Beshte snuck up behind him and knocked Kenge to the ground. Bunga jumped on Kenge's head and covered his eyes, Bunga looked at Fuli she ran towards a tree and said,"Over here Kenge!" He run towards her and Bunga jumps off just as Kenge's about to run into the Tree. "Kion roar him outta here!" Bunga said. "Bunga, he can't he's been bitten he's paralysed he can't get up!" Said Fuli. "Oh yeah!" "I'll go get Makini! Fuli shouted as she sped off. Simba Kiara and Kovu were still in shock over what happened. Anga grabbed Kenge's tail and carried him out of the Tree of Life's grounds. "Kion, son are you ok?" Simba asked lying down next to him. "I'm ok Dad I just can't move my legs." Simba hugged Kion and Kiara was on the war path. "Kiara you ok?" Kovu asked. "Do I look ok?! My brother just got paralysed by a lizard! And he can't walk! And he's gonna be like this for half the day!" "Whoa calm down" Kovu said gently. "Kovu my advice is to step back slowly, Kiara is on the war path ok?"said Nala "Noted" Kovu said stepping back. Kion laughed softly. "We're here Kion!" Fuli said. Makini got the flowers and put them on Kion and he smelled them and ate them. "Kiara it's time to go back to the Pride Lands." Simba said. "Dad I don't wanna leave not with Kion like this." "Don't worry Kiara I'll be all right." Kiara sighed "OK, I love you Kion" she said hugging her brother. "I love you too Kiara." Kiara reluctantly left her brother and left to Tree of Life. The rest of the Guard decided they should keep up the patrol Ono decided to stay with Kion and keep him company. Makini went back to the Tree of Life and as she went in she stepped on a twig and it snapped. Rani woke quickly. "M-Makini is that you?" Yes your Majesty" "Oh thank goodness!" Rani yawned. "Where's Kion?" Asked Rani. "He's been paralysed by Kenge." Said Makini. "WHAT!"  Rani said in shock. "Don't worry he's fine he was already bitten by him when he was a cub. He told me if I come back and you wake up you're to go back to sleep and not worry about him, and he said he means it." Rani chuckled softly then smiled. "OK if you go to Kion tell him I'm gone back to sleep." "Will do!" Rani put her head down and thought about Kion as she drifted back off to sleep
