"Baby can you please stay for a little longer?" Cheryl pouted as Toni checked her phone at the time. She knew she should've left ten minutes ago but she just couldn't pull herself away from Cheryl's arms.

Toni leaned over and kissed her favorite pair of lips. The kiss was slow but had a certain neediness in it. Toni pulls back tucking Cheryl hair back so she could look at her face.

"I have to go babe I'll see you tomorrow I promise." Toni sighed standing up from Cheryl's couch pausing the Christmas movie that was playing of course the two weren't watching it in fact all they were doing was making out.

Cheryl smirked pulling Toni back down to the couch then crawling on her lap, Cheryl grabbed Toni's hand placing them on her ass Toni holding her just like she wanted.

"Please stay," Cheryl practically moaned in Toni's ear. Toni bit her lip at Cheryl's lustful tone. " for thirty more minuets. I'll be quick" Cheryl hummed seductively nibbling on Toni's ear.

Toni gripped the girls ass throwing the girl back down on the couch hovering over her with her own smirk. "You're gonna be the death of me Cheryl blossom" Toni grinned leaning down pressing her lips onto Cheryl's neck.

Toni pulled into her driveway at 11pm she was 40 minuets late which wasn't a good thing. Her mother was working in the office till 2am according to the text she received earlier meaning the only one home was her step dad Daniel.

Toni walked into the house cursing as she saw Daniel with a beer in his hand and an angry look on his face. The man was in his mid forties he had a mustache and dark brown hair. The man was a wicked man who was fake to everyone besides Toni and her brother.

"You're late." He said resentment coating his drunken voice. He sets his beer on the counter then crosses his arms.

"Sorry I was with a friend." Toni mumbled the strong independent girl lost in her shadows by now.

"Was it a guy friend?" He ask raising and eyebrow. Toni doesn't respond. "Answer me you little slut!" He raises his voice.

"No it wasn't." She said looking up at his eyes.

"Oh so you're still a faggot?" He laughed stepping closer.

"You don't get to talk to me like that? You are not my fucking dad." Toni raised her voice fair trembling in her eyes. He took a deep breath before swinging his hand across Toni's face.

Toni doesn't move and ignores the sting in her face. He grips her jacket and pushes her back against the door nearly choking her with her own collar.

"You stupid little bitch!" He screamed in her face. "I could fucking kill you and not one person would no." He said in a sadistic tone.

"But I rather have the pleasure of knowing you killed yourself." He said with a smile stepping back.

"Now tell daddy your sorry." He said his smile dirty and wrong Toni's throat clench is disgust and anger. She knew she was stronger than him but whenever she was around him all of her courage escaped her bones.

"Fuck you." She spit he shook his head clenching his fist and throwing a hard punch at Toni's face. A sharp pain erupted on Toni's eyes Toni cursing and gripping at the bloody black eye. He pushed her back again and punched her mouth once more Toni holding back as many tears as she could.

"Next time I'll do way worst." He groaned walking up the stairs.

Toni slides down he stairs her face bloody. Her head and her hands she lets a silent tear fall. Reaching into her pocket she dials the one person she knew wouldn't get scared and leave.

"Oh come on you could so be a singer." Veronica laughed on Ariana's pink sheet covered bed. Ariana looked over at the Latina with a small giggle.

"You think? Because I always thought I was bad at singing." Ariana said with a small blush.

"Shut up you're amazing." Veronica looked up at Ariana who was blushing down red hair covering her face.

"I like you when your sober, I get to see the real you." Ariana hummer leaning down to cuddle up against Veronica. Veronica smiles wrapping her arms around Ariana's back rubbing circles with her thumb.

"Well I know you don't like it and you hate it but weed helps me through tough times you know? It's like how you sing instead I smoke I know yours is more productive but-" Ariana leaned up and kissed her friends lips quickly. Veronica only getting a whiff of her favorite new flavor vanilla chapstick.

"Don't explain yourself we'll get through it." Ariana blushed laying down on Veronica's shoulder again closing her eyes.

"We?" Veronica's smile grew at her words.

Just then Veronica's phone goes off. She cursed under her breath Ariana tapping her arm as a warning not to curse.

Veronica's eyebrows furrow reading Toni's name she leans up answering it. "Hey what's wrong- okay okay, I'm on my way." Veronica sighed turning off the phone so ari couldn't hear the sobs from Toni.

"It's Toni I should-" Veronica gets cut off by Ariana's scared face.

"You're not sleeping with her because like I thought we were- I know we aren't like-" Ariana rambled.

"I'm not sleeping with her dummy." Veronica smiled about to ask for her hoodie back but couldn't bring herself to watching how cute Ariana looked in it.

"See you tomorrow." Veronica waved leaving th room.

When Veronica pulled up to the huge house she was met with Toni in tears and bruises under her and and a busted lip.

"Hey what happened-" Veronica couldn't finish her sentence because she was so shocked when Toni wrapped her arms around her and started to cry in her best friends shoulder ignoring her border she had built around the girl. Veronica decided not to push it and ran her shaky finger through the girls hair.

"Shhh it's gonna be okay." She whispered listening to the loud sobs and the wind pushing against the trees.
