He came back to find her finishing up the food he made her with a selcouth smile.

"Thank you." Her unlively voice articulated as stood up from her place. He strolled over to her, towering over her tiny height as she craned her neck painfully just to look up at his face.

"Whats your name, darling?" He asked slowly emphasizing every syllable.

"Esther Gray."

---------------

Her name name was kairos and everything he imagined and more. It fit her perfectly as he watched her waltz around the living room, her hair swaying against her back as she acted like this was her home. This is her home. She placed herself on the window sill as she gazed through the window, the view of roofs and gorgeous things. It was just a simple, normal view yet it was wonderful since it was all new to her.

"Your home is cozy." She smiled at him, her radiant grin sending him flying through firmament as he nodded dumbly in response. She was so little and petite and wondered what problem caused her from all things to run away from her life.

The doorbell rang nervously as Harry rushed to get it, quite bothered that it disturbed his serene staring session of her. He opened the door slightly to reveal Quinn Brígh, his current girlfriend. She was pretty in a sense of simplicity with her pixie cut and stained red lips.

"Quinn." He breathed out, not expecting the lady before him to be here right this instant.

"Harry, I thought I'd pay you a visit. I came here to drop off the stuff you left at my place, thought you needed them." She placed a small chaste kiss on his lips as he stood still in his place. "Aren't you going to let me in?"

"O-Of course." He stammered as he shuffles to side letting her pass into the living room. He braced himself before hearing a squeal coming from his girlfriend.

"Who is she?" Quinn asked calmly as she set eyes on the girl who still looked out the window, not even bothering to look behind her.

"You can call me Gray." The girl stated in her monotone voice as she swiveled around.

"I'm Quinn."

"I know."

"How do you know?"

"I heard him." The small girls deadpans in an obvious tone as her eye's flicker to the green eyed man standing on the frame of the door.

"Harry, who is she?" Quinn quipped, starting to get slightly frantic.

"She's Gray." He smirks as he sends a quick wink to the teenaged girl as a grin tugs on her pouty lips. Quinn nodded curtly, noting to talk to her lover about this later, but it was late at night and she wanted to go home.

Deciding not to put herself through anymore torture, Esther Gray slipped herself off the sill and walked over to Harry as she looked up him.

"I'm going to go sleep." Her voice sounding airy before wrapping her arms around his torso, the side of her face against his chest. His body burned from the small warmth of her frame as he reciprocated the hug eagerly. It felt so right for her to be in his arms, like he had to protect her like a brother.

Before he could register anything she pulled away and gracefully slid down the hallway. He wondered if she already knew where the bed room was and if she even knew that there was only one bedroom that they had to share, but in the end she didn't really care. She had nothing left to lose and she was just tired and desired for someone to cuddle up with and sleep.

He was surprised to find her in his grey shirt, and her clothes neatly folded on top of his dresser. The fluffy white duvet covering her body yet exposing her skinny creamy legs. He slipped in next to her, keeping his distance knowing that she wouldn't like him to creepily snuggle up against her. As the bed shifted, she murmured something incoherent and rolled around to lay her head against his shoulder, feeding off his body warmth.

He sighed as he took the rash decision to just wrap his arms around the small girl and lay his head above hers. He knew she just wanted the warmth and the comforting of somebody older than her. He also knew that she meant nothing by it and that this was just an innocent gesture. He had no idea why he held a girl that he didn't even know in his arms, yet he knew that they would grow to be very close friends.
